The term "active site" is generally used for the region of an enzyme where the substrate of the enzyme binds.

An epitope is a region of an antigen molecule which binds to an antibody molecule.

The kinds of interactions (electrostatic, hydrophobic, hydrogen bonding...) are the same for an enzyme and its substrate as they are between an antibody and the epitope on its antigen.
