This was the top headline of the newspaper for today. So does this news come as surprise for you or you were expecting this? I was expecting this, because Bush and iraq war are very unpopular. Also does this mean that VA. is becoming blue because in last 2 to 3 elections, GOP lost US senate and governorship seats? And does this also mean that next year Hillary would win VA?

Also i want to know the fate of abusive driver fee legislation. I'm strongly against it and did my job in booting out of office my incumbent republican district rep. who voted for this legislation, but i don't see any media or news talking about this issue. Will this abusive driver fee stay?

It means that because of the influx and expansion of illegals and minorities away from DC into Northern Virginia, a couple of reliably Republican districts have now turned into Democratic districts.

And the taxpayers will suffer as a result.

Actually, the real issues here were more concerning illegal immigration and abusive driver fees, which is why the races in question went the way they did. I live in Virginia, so I am involved in these things.

And, since the dems will probably make no significant progress for the next two years and nothing will change, it will not affect the next general election too much in my opinion.

After all that Republicans have done to this country, it is surprising that Republicans can find anyone to vote for them. I guess it is lucky for Republicans that we have a secret ballot. That way, no one has to publically admit to voting Republican.
