No Korea is a great place to join the army.. They even feed you sometimes.
Cuba is a wonderful country if its government medical care you are seeking. They have many qualified MD's to help you. That's one thing Castro made sure of. Some times you get an MD who even has a clean white smock to wear, but that's not the normal fare.
The Nation of Russia is a wonderful country who's starting to come out of communism in recent years, but they still have a lot of restaurants with wonderful food from the old days. Sometimes they even use soap to wash the dishes.
Do I sound sarcastic? Well, and good.

Very good question. I doubt you will get a real answer to this. Many anti capitalistic people feel that these other countries should work, but they don't. They have to come up with a reason that goes along with their anti capitalistic views so they blame it on capitalism. We steal all their natural resources, and that type of thing.

Not that I hate capitalism per se. Capitalism is a very bad system. It produces huge inequities in wealth and opportunity. Unregulated so called laissez-faire capitalism is not good for any society.
Corporations have no conscience. they have no morality, and they just don't care about people. And they can't go to jail for breaking the law.

if you allow corporations to exploit the natural resources of a nation, including the human resources, why shouldn't they pay fair market value for this exploitation?

Harry, this is a great question. I do not see any way that a non-capitalist country can measure up to the USA.

News Flash: America is not currently PRACTICING capitalism, and has not been for quite some time.

Capitalism does NOT pump 50 billion dollars into the economy when BAD BUSINESS DECISIONS come back to bite companies in the butt, or give away MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to Big Businesses posting RECORD PROFITS.

IE: The sub-prime mortgage companies a few weeks ago, and 600 MILLION for the S & L corruption buy-out during bush the first, CORPORATE WELFARE given to Exxon.

I absolutely ADORE it when I get "thumbs-down" for posting facts. It's marvelous!

Hey, Cuba has free medicine!

And a serious lack of indoor plumbing unless you live in one of the two small cities...

I doubt you'll find any volunteers on this one.

the flaw with this question is that capitalism doesn't work without some government regulation and the USA hasn't had unregulated capitalism for quite some time now, being anti-capitalist in favor of a system which combines capitalism with some government regulation really is the better solution
