Does anyone here know why the Catholic Church hates Wiccans so much? I am a wiccan, and I dont understand why. The Church does their best to make it seem like Wicca is either the work of the devil, or that wiccans have no gods. Also, they do their best to give Wiccans bad press. They also try to divert attention away from Wiccan holidays. for instance, Samhain. The Church created All Saints Day to divert attention away from Samhain (and yes I know, Samhain was invented by Pagan/Celtics, but there is such a slight difference). The same thing with Imbolc and Saint Bridgets Day, and Beltane with Roodmas. This happened again with Lughnasadh and Lammas. Also, about 85% of the Catholic people ive met or heard of despise the wiccans and/or fear them. What is their problem?

People go out of their ways to have lavish weddings and receptions. But, why? What is it about the big wedding that is so appealing? Do women really want this, or are the conditioned to want this? My parents went to see the JP and they've been married 45 years. I have friends and cousins that have been married for 10 years or less, and are divorced, seperated or unhappy (and they had the big wedding). Women let me know?

I can understand why a Jew who converts to Christianity might still consider themselves Jewish (even if most Jews don't think they are, at least religiously.)

In response to a question I just asked about Messianic Christians, a Christian just said that all Christians are Jewish by definition. Is this a widely held belief?

by their own parents or friends ? that never realize happen to you ?because i think i got robbed or my own mother stoled something from me that i ever thinking she done something stupid to steal something from her own blood daughter . i had this real gold heavy necklace that my teacher from 8 th grade gave me a gift for my 8th grade graduation . its was something special that i never forget , but i think my mom stoled from my own bedroom jewerly box ? c why i think that cause i wasnt home over the weekend when i came home yesterday i fouid out that she was cleaned out my closet , then today i was going to my jewerly box i saw that couples of my jewerlys was gone. i was upset that why the sake someone want do that to me. so today my mom went out , i went to her room to see if she stoled something from me again. she did stoled my other necklace that my best friend got me for x-mas gift , i also found my wristbraclet and the necklace that my gradma gave me when she died.

Is there anything that you know from understanding that makes you believe that the presence of God is impossible? A little over a year ago.. i FINALLY found the guy of my dreams! He is absolutely absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to me and even over a year later every week just look at each other and say "how on earth did we get so lucky?!"- its like we never left that honeymoon stage.

Well.. im getting "older" ( i know i know.. 24 is NOT old haha.. but i finally feel like an adult. He just turned 23.. so hes a little younger.

Anyways.. my point is... i suddenly have wedding fever! I seriously CANT get married fast enough lol! Ive always been the girl who dreams about her wedding.. but now its like.. i want it to happen SOON!

We talk about marriage all the time.. but im always scared to flat out ask him "so .. how soon are you thinking"- i dont want him to feel liek im rushing him you know?

Any girls ever feel like this? Am i crazy lol? Should i approach the subject or just sit back and enjoy this great relationship?

Ok, so I'm doing a project for my business class. My professor gave me the topic of why the United States should lower the drinking age to 18. Even if I don't agree with it I still have to defend it as if I care. I'm 21, so it doesn't matter to me anyways.

Anywho, for those of you who do care and do feel the US should lower the drinking age to 18, what are your reasons? I'm looking for reasons that are thought out and mature and reasonable, not comments like "so I can't get arrested for getting drunk!!!!!!". I have my reasons already, but since this is a big project, I need as many reasons as possible to make a good argument.
