As sound has energy in it. It has vibrations. If we keep some paper pieces in front of speakers they vibrate and move. So can we extract energy from sound like we generate power from solar power and from wind power.

We're working on a school project involving disaster scenarios from a business perspective. Our project is a train derailment and we need to calculate how much our total loss will be. We have the specifics on how much our actual cargo loss will be based on the value of good and the number of train cars but is there anything else we're leaving out? Our scenario says it is a cargo train with no passengers that has derailed in a country setting. Would we need to figure in some type of settlement for the conductors? And wouldn't there be some type of cleanup cost? Would the railroad have it's own personnel for that or do they contract it out? If so at what cost? And if the derailment is in the country do we need to pay the property owners for derailing on their ground? Or is it a payment to the county or state, and how much is this payment? If there's anything else I'm leaving out please let me know. Due next week so any help is appreciated!!

LIke the movie gladiator says, what we do here echos in eternity? Is hell and heaven just the extention of life we live here. If we accept Jesus, his plan for our lifes, and the Bible? or Turn and run from them but still live a good life. Eample the Rich man and Lazuras story in the bible. Rich man lived a good life, but wasn't generous and went to hell...they switched places??

WW1 The Australian Light Horse charged the Turkish held garrison at Bathsheaba, 1000 years of Muslim rule was conquered in an astonishing assault raid by the 800 Australian Light Horsemen who charged at dusk, over running the Turkish defences while being shot at by enemy machine gun fire, artillery and German pilots dropping hand held mortars from over head sweeps. Outnumbered they than dismounted and captured the stronghold to turn the course of the Regional War and capture and preserve life saving wells for water. This is a feat the Brittish and otehr Allies were unable to chieve across open desert and a magnificent Victory and Gallipoli. Only 34 men were fell during the charge which chaged the campaign !

There is no way I would ever accept that entity as my "president." What would be my options?

1. Leave the country?

2. Remain here and legally withdraw my citizenship through an attorney? Are there attorneys that specialize in this?

3. I'm pretty old and have never gotten a tattoo, and I think they're stupid. But could I get one in a conspicuous place that says "She's Not My President," and is it painful to get a tattoo say on your forehead?

4. If I stay, could I wear a filtered breathing mask for the term of her entire regime. Somehow, I would feel that the air would even be polluted throughout the land.

4. Any other advice?

I was considering teaching english abroad in Korea, but heard horror stories from black people about racism in korea or never getting a job once they're picture is submitted.

However, I really lightskinned for a black guy(I've seen white guys with a tan get darker than me), I get pegged as half or hispanic, or mixed in the USA....

If I go will I recieve the same chilly reception as a dark black guy or will they be more welcoming.

When I was 13 I made an oath to God that I would not have sex until I was married. I'm now 17. I haven't. In fact I haven't even kissed a guy yet. Lately though I've been wondering if maybe I should. I mean maybe then guys would go out with me. Maybe I would not have such a hard time finding a boyfriend or even a date. I know virginity is one special and to rare. And I'm not the type of girl that would just go out and do it with the first guy I saw. At the same time I have fears of one breaking and oath made to God and two regretting having sex if I'm not ready. Please if anyone has some good advice I would greatly appreciate it. I don't know where else to go. It's not like i can talk to any of the people that are around me. Thank you in advance to all of those who take time out to answer my question.

I have been involved in few car "runs". These are small local events that take place every few months. They are not races or rallys, but more of a moving car show. We communicate on online forums and plan to meet at a predetermined location. We drive about 2 hours away to a road where we get to test our driving skills. The road is pretty challenging for unexperienced drivers, but we all just try to have a safe, good time.

Somehow I ended up planning the next run. Don't get me wrong, it isn't an organized/sanctioned event. By planning, I simply mean that I picked out a date and a meeting place and I post it on a forum. Then everyone on the forums says if they are planning on attending.

After a few weeks of checking the forums, I realized that we might have between 40-50 drivers. I am beginning to worry about the liability aspect of the run. Am I liable if someone decides to get stupid, or crashes their car? How can I protect myself against legal action? Can I be Sued?

I'm trying to remember like crazy, but there's this old film, very early 90s or earlier (could even be 80s or 70s) with a boy whose toy soldier/action figure comes to life (actually he appears to him life-sized played by a real person, no CG effects) to aid him to expose a plot to smuggle top secret info. Bits I remember are that his dad didn't have time for him and basically ignores him. His hero is some character that his action figure is based on. It appears to him in real life as a real person and works together with him to uncover some spy plot. I vaguely remember a few scenes like there's this guy who helps him with long hair and geeky glasses, also his toy (the life-sized human version) gets shot at the end but isn't dead because he's imaginary or something. Near the end, they're at an airport and he insists these two old people are spies and they have something in their possession. This is found to be true and they're apprehended. It's an old kids movie. Can anyone help??

K i cant sleep, so ill ask this before bed.

I want to join the military. Ive always wanted too since i was little, cuz my dad...long story.

Anyway, i want to join. Ive ALWAYS been a great shot, since i was old enough to hold a pellet gun, ive always been able to hit a bullseye from a long ways away.

So i was thinking maybe a marksmen a.k.a. sniper

But then again, i like being up in the action, i like being in the face of the enemy, 'so i can see the look on his face when i win' lol like that quote.

Whats your advice if i went about joining?

oh and i know it might be helpful to know i have diabetes

I think before a President can order other men into mortal combat to kill or be killed, that he or she should have at least served on active duty in a branch of the miltary and showed up and not have lots of missing pages from his or her miltary record. If they are President then 3 Senators with good, clear military records should give the approval of the order to war. It seems unfair to send men and women into combat if you did not even show up for even the Air National Guard doesn't it?

is it bad to take the birth control pill an hour late or an hour early?
if you take the pill at 9:30pm, are you supposed to take it at 8:30pm now since the time has changed? I know it sounds stupid but it's better to ask than be sorry later on.
Thanks in advance.
