Yes actually there are two men who's voice makes me shiver...one is an old high school boyfriend and the other is some one on here...and he knows who he is!

I'm a SUCKER for the slow raspy voice, kinda reminiscent of Jennifer Tilly and Joey Lauren Adams. That is SO hot to me.

Yes. Absolutely. There's a guy that I met on here and I gave him my phone number. He calls me every so often and his voice makes me shiver and I just melt. He doesn't call nearly enough, but I understand why he can't. **sighs**

I've never been struck by someone in such a way, but I've been told multiple times that the coordinating effect of my eyes and voice has a rather drastic effect on whomever I am speaking to. So in theory, I suppose it is possible that you could be influenced by someone's vocal patterns in a positive manner.

When I used to work at this domestic abuse shelter I was 18 and there was this 19 year old girl who was severely mentally ill staying there. And she had borderline personality and disorder and one of the symptoms is basically idolizing someone. Well since I was close to her age and nice to her she began to kinda follow me and copy me.
Well after it started to get beyond creepy and she started to dress like me. I told her to stop and she went nuts and started telling me how I was hers and if I didn't want to be with her I'd rott in hell! How God was going to punish me forever, I'd never feel whole without her and if she couldn't have me NO ONE could .... I ended up calling the police and having her sent to a mental hospital. And she used to call me at work and got my home umber and called me and to this day even the thought of her makes me want to cringe!

YES! my boyfriend. and my friend has a GREAT radio voice, it was so deep and he was only 14 at the time. damn he was fine
