the states with people with the top 16 average iq's voted for kerry in '04. all of their iq's were at least 99 (just under the average of 100) and connecticut and massachusetts are at the top of the lists-they are like the most liberal states ever. Is this not proof that dems are smarter than republicans. and while a high iq doesn't necessarily make you better at politics, there is a general correlation.

Hi! I've been playing the violin for about 2 and a half years and I'm pretty all right. The only thing I really lack confidence in is my sight reading. I have a really hard time sight reading music for some reason. I am able to play the piece when i practice but it's hard for me to play it right there when someone gives a piece to me. Are there any tricks or websites that help to improve your sight reading for violin? Any scales or something on sheet music I can practice for sight reading. I take the suzuki method book and they have the fingering (example: 1, 2, 3) below the note which is what I usually use to read my music (unfortunately). Please help! Thanks!

I think it would only be a nice gesture on my part seeing that I will be drunk and she is my designated driver. I need to order me a grand slam breakfast and some extra crispy bacon with it. Ooooohhhh and some french toast too.

Maybe I should hit IHOP instead and get the stuffed french toast thingys. I hope those places aren't gonna discriminate against my cat and not serve her. I'd have to go all crazy on them.

I'm a 26 yo male...I don't know what's going on with me...but I noticed about 2 weeks ago while i was washing my hair that there was a good amount of hair in my hands...I've been using the same shampoo for 3 years..nothing has changed...I HAVE been very stressed out lately...Is it normal to lose some hair while shampooing...I cut my hair cut about 8 weeks ago and i'm thinking the way my stylist cut it might have something to do with it, too...and help greatly appreciated...

I don't have a problem with her, but I don't understand why she's so popular. She is pretty, but not stunning, and her acting is really not that good. I don't really find her intriguing the way actresses like Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta Jones are. Anyone agree?

Yes, I have total responsiblity for a bunny, and I know what they need. But I have about 25 grids, and would like some ideas for a rabbit cage. The bunny will be medium size when he comes home. If you have a g. pig or a bunny cage, can you take a pic for me? Or if you don't, or you can't or don't wanna take a pic, can you find one of the internet for me? Two women waiting at the Pearly Gates strikes up a conversation. "How'd you die?" the first woman asks the second.
"I froze to death," says the second.
"That's awful'" says the first woman. "How does it feel to freeze to death?"
"It's very uncomfortable at first." says the second woman. "You get the shakes and then you get pains in all your fingers and toes. But, eventually it turns out to be a very calm way to go. You get numb all over, sleepy and you die in your sleep. How about you, how did you die?"
I had a heart attack," says the first woman. "You see, I had this strong feeling my husband was cheating on me, so one day I showed up at home very early, unexpectedly I ran up to the bedroom, and found him alone, watching TV. I ran down to the basement, but no one was hiding there, so I ran up to the second floor, but found no one hiding there either. So then, I ran as fast as I could up to the attic. Just as I got there, I had a massive heart attack and died instantly.
The second woman shakes her head. Then says, "That's so ironic."
"What do you mean?" asks the first woman.
Second woman responds, "If you had stopped long enough to look into the freezer, maybe we'd both still be alive."

okay so instead of eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner i can substatute one or two of them (or a snack) for a plate of ice (you take a plate fill it w/ water freeze it then eat it) it makes me feel like im eating but its actually like drinking water. i also eat POM seeds after every meal (i heard they make you lose weight) so anyway what i want to know is...is this deit safe??? for my health i mean?

i got 2 shots in each arm (im not sure exactly which ones in which) meningitus, gardisel, tetanus and flu about a week and a half ago-two weeks and its still really sore and the level of soreness goes off and on--in the right arm its either hurting some or alot and the left either not hurting at all or alot. should i talk to my doctor about this or is this normal?
