I've had it for a month in my fridge. it is a PC brand... the top of it looks a bit white is it mouldy?

It could be. If in doubt throw it out. My husband doesn't leave salsa around for more than a few days, he eats it all.

if it looks moldy then definately chuck it

homemade salse usually last for a week if refridgerated

retail salsa can last a long time because of the preservatives in it, but you have to refridgerate that as well (after you open it).

yikes! Throw it away!! I wouldn't keep it longer than a week if it's been opened. Seriously...you're asking for trouble there.

its made out of tomatoes...
like all vegetables.. they go bad.
