ok i know uc davis is the best in the country for anything pre-vet but i've also heard that cal poly slo is pretty good too and i LOVE the area! i'd really like to be an exotic animal vet someday. I'd love some input from people who go to the schools

I went to Borders and they had a pile of book (not magazines) about Playboy's 50th anniversary. They were in plain view and not in a plastric wrap, so I grabbed a copy and started sifting through its pages. I think some people noticed that I was looking at pictures of naked women and were probably not too happy about it (but then again, the book was at the bookstore available for anyone to see).

Could I have gotten in trouble if I had been caught looking at that book at a public place?

(It's disturbing that such books are in plain sight for anyone, even kids, to see.)

I live in a farming town. I was coming home two nights ago when my head lights shined on the bare butt of some guy standing on a stool, behind a cow with him holding the cow's tail up. You get the idea. This happened across the street from my house and there weren't any cars parked alongside the road,so I kinda think it was someone who either lives on the farm or was visiting it. (There aren't many houses near.)

I know this sounds completely crazy and I never thought things like this really happen, but now I'm starting to freak out. I'm starting to think, "What kind of person does such a thing and what else are they willing to do." I mean, he even got a cow that was inside the fence, near the road. He didn't even walk farther into the pasture and get a cow that could keep him hidden from car lights.

Should I tell my neighbor? (I have never seen or spoken to them.) Should I have called the police?

My husband and I are in our late twenties.We met a group of close friends when we were in grad school for 2 years. Since then, we all moved across the country but we all meet up once a year for a long weekend.
There are 6 other couples and now we are the only ones without kids or pregnant.We are fine with this,but we often feel excluded by them.For instance,on our trip last year we shared a room w/another couple that didn't have kids.We paid the same amount as everyone else who had their own rooms.I was kind of mad but let it go because at least we didn't feel we were the only ones singled out.I'm pretty easy going in general.
This year, one friend is getting a head start on the trip planning.She found some 6 bedrooms and sent them to everyone to see if we liked any.She mentioned me and my hubby could sleep in the loft since we don't have kids.The loft is fully open to living room.I feel this is a timeto enjoy my hubby AND friends(hubby has no time off & bad hrs so I dont c him much

I am 17 turning 18 next month. how much does the social security pay?

I have a legal disability. When i was younger, my mom applied for it and i got it, but since they made too much money they cut off my SSI. What are my chances of getting it again if i claim myself? i still have the disablity. my grandma says if i got it before then i should get it now.

I have asked him to talk to his doctor for years. He continues to ignore my request. It has been more than four months since we had any type of intercourse. We tried today and he could not keep it hard for very long. We ended up having to use the vibrator for my enjoyment. I'm really tired of this.

He is only 34 years old and we have been married for 14 years. This has been a problem on and off all during our marriage. It is truly frustrating to the point I have considered leaving.

My dog was attacked by a pit bull. IT would not let go of him for nothing(keep in mind this is a little dog). For ten minutes this pit had a hold of my dogs neck, and swinging him around like a rag doll..we knew he was dead. My husband hit the pit over the head five times with a sledge hammer, and it did not budge, then finally threw water on them, and it let go, they left to haul the pit off. I looked outside to see if I could find my dog, he was laying there, and surprisingly he was breathing, but not moving. My husband got home about 15 mins later, and said if he's alive it wont be long til he dies. By this time my dog was up moving around, but the blood was pouring from his neck. We got him immediate help once we realized he was up and getting around quite well. We got him on antibiotics, and pain medicine, put peroxide on his wounds several times daily. This was over a month ago, and my dog is now alive and kick'n it well!!!! We now call him our miracle dog!!!

As much as i'd like to believe that we have souls, the truth is that there is no proof it exists. so in that case, is all the 'deep' love that we feel nothing more than some chemical reactions? well i guess there will never actually be an answer to this, but at least what is your opinion?

i almost think, if we're just a bunch of chemicals, there is no point to life!?

He also has it posted all over his page and he has a link to the webcam where he will be doing it.

Yes, I went on a date and kissed another guy a year ago, when my husband suggested we divorce and he moved out. But after telling him I was moving on, he came back and promised me things would change and he would treat me better. Well, for a month straight he has played the blame game, and tonight, He called me a whore in front of the kids, and said to my 5 year old daughter...Do You Know Mommy Has Sex With Other Guys!! I got so fed up, I slapped him so many times while holding my 2 month old. He of course jumped up and attacked me and threw our baby down the crib. I didnt care if he attacked me, but was terribly upset that my baby was screaming. He's gone now. But I'm so fed up. I love him so much and I can't stand it anymore. There is never 1 day we can go without him mentioning something about the past. I'm trying to learn from my "mistakes" and grow. But now I'm confused as to who's fault it is.
