"Look on Youtube. There are a few frames of film from a security camera as the plane hit the building."

yes they relaesed that film which show no planes at all. if they have some 100 cameras around the penatgon, they would be able to show us some clear cut images. The one yer talking about does not prove anything in terms of official story. Did u not say the other day that we shou;ldnt trust youtube????

"Videos of some government buildings are never released to the media, because havng video to study would be helpful to any terrorist organization."

you are a joke: the terrorists have "supposedly" been there, they already hit the pentagon, they knew everything, so what else do u have to hide?. you are obviously brainwashed and it is clear that the official story is indefensible.

"By the way, the Pentagon ... NOT the most sensitive building in the world, or in this country."

so u think there were no cameras? wal-mart is more sensitive???

"Yes there are cameras and no they generally don't release the footage."

it is very strange that they do not release the evidence. they could have silenced every skeptic on this planet.

the reason they do not release (as they did with the photos of the "hijackers") was that they had no eviedence : they cooked the books.

u will never convince people by arguing it is secret evidence.

As to the rest of your post, it is all blah blah, unrelated to the question.

"Remember before the War on Terror, there was Desert Shield, and Desert Storm, 1989-90, because of Sadam Hussein...a ruthless Dictator in Saudi Arabia and Iraq.......READ...this will prove your conspiracy theory WRONG!..."

what has this to do with my question? u must be out of your mind, if u have one at all.

asking the gov't to show us videos of planes hitting the pentagon is a conspiracy??????

"Dozens, if not hundreds, of people stuck on I-395 saw the low-flying plane & their testimony is well-documented in the press"

do u know that many people reported hearing bombs exploding prior to fall of twin towers? why were they never dopcumented by the press??? and why dont u think about this issue?

yes, the images they released were blurry. people who were familiar with the pentagon said they saw tens of cameras surrounding the building, why do we see only one blurry image? the bank of america released the other day an image of someone who tried to break an ATM machine and the image was clear and shrp. i would have thought the pentagon might even have better cameras.

it is a gov't building, low security or not, they had many cameras. why cant we see the plane hitting????? and i am puzzled about these hijackers landing the plane then going straight to the pentagon from the side. doesnt it make more sense to just drop the plane on the building????

Of course there are cameras. Videos of some government buildings are never released to the media, because havng video to study would be helpful to any terrorist organization. There are government buildings that still have camoflagued roofs that were painted during WWII. And, buildings that have no identifying signs anywhere. Would you feel safe if you lived in a country where the government blabbed everything to the entire world? I wouldn't. By the way, the Pentagon ... NOT the most sensitive building in the world, or in this country.

Remember before the War on Terror, there was Desert Shield, and Desert Storm, 1989-90, because of Sadam Hussein...a ruthless Dictator in Saudi Arabia and Iraq.......READ...this will prove your conspiracy theory WRONG!...

In 1990's, after the Soviet defeat, generals like Musharraf dispatched thousands of those fighters to wage a guerilla campaign in Kashmir. Many trained across the border in Afghanistan, in the same camps that Al Qaeda had set up under the Taliban.
After 9/11 Musharraf promised Washington that he would cut off support for such groups, including the Talibans. Early on, he authorized the arrests of several top Qaeda leaders in Pakistani cities, including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the MASTERMIND OF THE Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, and Aba Zubaydah, a top Qaeda orgranizer. But Musharraf's efforts have always been somewhat halfhearted, constrained by the deep sympathies that many of his countrymen have for jihadists. For decades Pakistanis were taught that the guerillas were Muslim heroes, fighting for national honor and security. Such loyalties cannot be turned off like a tap. Several of the militants' onetime spymasters, both inside and outside the government, maintain links to their former charges. The security services will go after certain figures, particularly foreign Qaeda fighters, but ask others simply to lie low. Many officials , even many ordinary citizens, still think the jihadists should be preserved for future use as a strategic weapon, especially against India, long after America's War on Terror is over.

"In Washington, a senior administrative official involved in counterterrorism said U.S. intelligence is chronically fearful that Islamists might get hold of nuclear material, equipment of know-how in Pakistan. He recalled that after 9/11, a group of rogue Pakistani nuclear scientists met with Osama Bin Laden. "Given that history, we continue to look at this issue very closely." he said, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue."

First of all, the Pentagon is not a military base, it's an administrative facility. The level of security at the Pentagon in peace time was low. So what?

Secondly, there were security cameras & photos were released. They are blurry. See point #4, below, for a link to a photo of the plane crashing into the Pentagon.

Thirdly, cameras are really not necessary due to powerful evidence that it was a Jet as follows:

1) Dozens, if not hundreds, of people stuck on I-395 saw the low-flying plane & their testimony is well-documented in the press. Quoted from Wikipedia, “American Airlines Flight 77”:

... Steve Riskus witnessed the plane crash into the Pentagon, as he was driving along Washington Boulevard and stopped to take photographs moments after the impact.[21] Mary Lyman, who was on I-395, saw the airplane pass over at a "steep angle toward the ground and going fast" and then saw the cloud of smoke from the Pentagon.[22] Jim Sutherland, also on I-395, witnessed the plane pass 50 feet overhead, heading in a straight line into the Pentagon.[23] Mary Ann Owens, of Gannett News Service, was stuck in traffic near the Pentagon when she saw the airplane pass 50 to 75 feet overhead and crash into the Pentagon.[24] Another witness, Daryl Donley, saw the crash as he was driving on Washington Boulevard. Among debris that was scattered as the plane crashed, he found a "scorched green oxygen tank marked 'Cabin air. Airline use'" on the road.[24] Mr. Donley also had a camera with him, and took some of the first photographs after the crash.[25] USA Today reporter Mike Walter, while driving on Washington Boulevard, also witnessed the crash.[26] He recounted to CNN, "...looked out my window. I saw this plane, the jet, American Airlines jet coming. And I thought, this doesn't add up. It's really low. And I saw it. It just went — I mean, it was like a cruise missile with wings, it went right there and slammed right into the Pentagon. Huge explosion."[13]
(This is about half the witnesses, to save space)
================
2) Clear wreckage of a plane was found & photographs were printed in all the papers. Here's a nice photo from 9/11 that clearly shows plane wreckage:

(scroll down after clicking)

3)Yes, the hole in the Pentagon was somewhat smaller than the diameter of the plane. This is explained by Professor Mere Sozen, a “Kettelhut Distinguished Professor Civil Engineering” at Perdue University. Prof. Sozen says that it’s the energy of the plane, not its size that determines the size of the hole. The plane is not a cartoon character that punches out its outline. Moving at 531 MPH it more fluid than solid and this explains why you get the hole you got. See:
http://www.purdue.edu/UNS/html4ever/020910.Sozen.Pentagon.html

=====
4) The “American Society of Civil Engineers” & the “Structural Engineering Institute” (both are non-governmental) investigated the Pentagon crash. Their report is called "The Pentagon Performance Report" & it’s at:
http://www.fire.nist.gov/bfrlpubs/build03/PDF/b03017.pdf

The report contains color photos from the relevant Pentagon security camera which was going at 1 frame/sec. It shows a blurry shot of the plane.

The report contains abundant references to plane debris & body parts found in the Pentagon. For example, on page 26 it says:

“The remains of most of the passengers on the aircraft were found near the end of the travel of the aircraft debris. The front landing gear (a relatively solid and heavy object) and the flight data recorder (which had been located near the rear of the aircraft) were also found nearly 300 ft into the structure. By contrast, the remains of a few individuals (the hijacking suspects), who most likely were near the front of the aircraft, were found relatively close to the aircraft’s point of impact with the building."

The remains of the passengers were DNA matched to relatives.

5) Controllers in Boston spotted & actually tracked Flight 77 as it flew from the Midwest to and into the Pentagon. They ordered the F16s over New York to fly to Washington to intercept it but they were too late. Are all these controllers insane?

6) Hundreds of rescue workers found plane debris & body parts. Many accounts of this were published in the papers.

7) If it was a missile, then where did Flight 77 & all its passengers go ?....
-------------------------------
Security cameras were going at 1 frame per second but the plane was moving at 851 feet per second. That's almost 3 football field lengths per second. That's why only a blur was captured.

In any event, it doesn't matter since there is excellent evidence that is was not a missile, but a jet, as explained above.

Yes there are cameras and no they generally don't release the footage.
