Is it some kind of superstition?

ok, so i am in 8th grade. I am taking 2 high school classes (phy. science and algebra 1) and I am doing well, except in algebra, but i am working on that. Anyways, i want to become an Emergency Room doctor. I want to go to UT but i need to do more i think. Like study for the SATs and ACTs and MCATs. but i want to score really high. If someone could help me stir in the right direction, so to speak, that would really help. I only want to do 7 years of college, so i got to start doing something now.
oh yea i am volunteering at an Emergency room this summer, so i will have community service hours too.

Should I lie, and disagree, or what? I mean even though I have a few extra pounds I would never say that. One reason is because it think it would make the other person feel awkward, because I know thats how I feel. Also, because I just don't see the point really. Oh, and I'm not talking about all those skinny people who say they are "fat" either! LOL

D.C. will NEVER do anything about illegal immigration except pretend. Chertoff is the biggest conn this side of the Mason Dixie line. Like Giuliani, he is always talking about cracking down on illegals but never deportation. Martinez, his sidekick, just retired. He went and found another hispanic to spearhead the project. This man is nauseating! The American people will win the battle State by State. In the near future, certain Southern States will come down hard on illegals. Illegals will run to another State, which inturn will create stiff laws. Washington will get the message from the States. The States will do what D.C. failed to do. When Denver came down on illegals, most left overnight. This is the right way to do it. Laws must be created that penalize rich crooked politicians, corporations, private business and others with felonies and imprisonment. Many illegals will leave for having no place to stay or work. This is how to effectively fight illegal immigration.

Mainly mothers, fathers too can answer.

Im not a parent myself, far from one. But would you allow your 16 yr old daughter to talk on the phone with her best guy friend 1 am and like 3 am. for hours at a time? And she gets good grades, isnt bad, nothing to worry about. But would you approve of that, and your not paying for the hours talked because free minutes, but the phone bill you are.

I went vegan this summer, and I'm finally cycling through the last face wash/shampoo things I had before going vegan, so I'm wondering...

Is Clean and Clear vegan? I'm thinking it isn't... what about Noxzema?

And I know that Garnier isn't vegan, so I'm getting rid of that once it's gone. But I straighten my hair a lot, so--does anybody know any vegan stuff that helps your hair with heat protection/shiny/smooth/anti-frizz stuff during straightening? What about conditioners and shampoos?

I live really close to a Marlene's and Trader Joe's, so I can go shopping there pretty soon.

Also, what about shoes...? I'm a guy, and I have vans, but I need to get rid of them once they're worn out, too, since they're leather.

The American Bar Association has recently asked for a stay on all executions, due to the court decisions that have called the current method "cruel and unusual punishment." The problems are concerning the drugs used in executions, one of which renders the prisoner immobile, unable to speak, move, or indicate pain. This drug is banned for use by veterinarians, but is used on human beings. Do you agree that executions should be halted until some humane method is found? Or do you believe in the Death Penalty at all? Seems to be it is clear that Jesus is God according to Isaiah. I mean it says his name shall be called the mighty God.
