This is like asking how many stars are in the sky, or how many grains of sand drift on the earth's surface, the number always changes no matter what. people are born and die all the time, it would be impossible to get an exact number, but an estimate would be about 8-9 billion.

I think it is 6.7 billion people and still growing. No one knows the exact number though. They do it on estimation through birth rates and deaths throughout the world.
