Doesn't it drive you nuts when someone adds PBUH to their answer??????

My 4 year old son does not listen to me at all. It seems like I have tried everything I can and I get no where with it! I'm so tired, we go to the store and he throws the worst fits if he doesn't get his way. I used to give in but now I just walk away because people stare and I get so emotional. I feel like a really bad parent because I have to yell to even get him to look at me! I usaully make his dad keep him if I have to go in public because I can't handle him. He listen's to everyone as long as i'm not around. I don't know what to do! I do not like to spank and do not like to yell. I don't know what to do. I feel like Im going to break down at anytime when he acts that way! Iam married to his father and he does help out. Is he just a spoiled rotten brat?

I'm trying to speed up the cycling process so i added a handful of gravel from a pre-existing tank.

1) is this enough gravel? it was literally the amount my hand could hold.
2) will the bacteria proliferate in a tank with only river rocks that are smooth and larger than the gravel?
3) will the bacteria move into my filter and expedite the growth on the bio medium?
4) would exposing the gravel to air for 5 seconds kill the beneficial bateria?

-Does anyone know of such places? I would really enjoy a mountain setting such as say West Virginia, but I am open to almost anywhere.

-I would want to live in an area that has access to roads, butr these places need to be well off the main roads. I wouldn't want to live in the wilderness, I just want a place with very few people that is calm and secluded.

-I don't think I'd like the American south (places like Alabama, Louisiana, but might be open to Arkansas)

-I think the north would be my preference and if there are such places in the northeast that would also be great.

-A location that has lakes, four distinct seasons, and is in a mountainous area would be my preference, but again any secluded places in the mainland US are desirable.

-states like Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, West Virginia, Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire would be first tier places for me.

-any information on secluded/serene places to live would be appreciated greatly.

I have a 1999 Maxima, according to kbb it's worth about $3,200. I just got through putting about $1,000 into repairs, but I know it's going to need more work very soon. The check engine light is on, one estimate is it needs new fuel injectors, the ABS light goes on and off, air bag light is on, and there is an electrical short somewhere.

Good news is - drives good, new battery, newish tires, newish brakes.

Would you invest in fixing it or am I just wasting my money?

My spouse is an admitting speed user but in his own defense says atleast he provides for his family and he says he doen't spend $ on the drug. His family sees no problem with his habit because he provides for us. my main prob is he goes to work and then when he gets home from his job he either crashes out till it time to get up for work or he leaves to go hang with his friends till midnight or later...barely any family time do we get with him. We have 2 boys ages 7 & 9 . When I confront him about his actions he tells me that he wants to hang with his friends because he's been at work all day. how do I help him see he's hurting us and missing important parts of his childrens lives.....I feel he needs to grow up.

I'm eating it as a work "snack" and it's all I can do not to gag on it and barf it all back up. It has a nastiness to it that I can't describe. Normally I love Maple & Brown sugar regular oatmeal.

Anyone eating it and losing weight? Or eating it and not losing weight? I don't want to keep making my self nauseous if it's never going to make me skinny!

I know that if I purchase a stacked portable washer and electric dryer unit I could use it without a laundry hook up in my apartment. But is there anyway to make a full size electric washer & dryer work well without a laundry hook up in the apartment (any way to hook it up like a portable?) .

I'm going to turn 21 in less than a week and I've never gotten a chance to kiss a girl or ask one out. I don't think I'm ugly, but I have trouble talking to girls I like. I don't think it's my looks: I weigh 158, stand 5' 9'' and have fairly muscular arms. I can talk to girls, but I can get nervous, especially around a girl in my college class, that I like. What is the main problem here? Please don't tell me I'm young because there are teenagers who go out with girls and I become upset when I see guys with girls and I never have anyone. Can I talk to a girl without making it seem weird, even if she really doesn't know me? Is the situation hopeless? Unlike farm-raised salmon, which i know is fed junk and antibiotics. I ask because I'm reading in a San Diego health guide that says not to eat farm raised salmon but that FR tilapia is OK. Anyone know about this?
