If you are not feeling baby movements yet, then you would have no way of knowing something has happened to the fetus, unless you had a strong sign like all of your other pregnancy symptoms disappearing one day.

"Stillbirth" applies to a loss after 20 weeks.
There are usually no physical warnings before a stillbirth. However, the following symptoms could signal a problem:

Vaginal bleeding -- especially during the second half of pregnancy -- may mean there's a problem with your baby. If you have bleeding, call your doctor. But know that many women who experience vaginal bleeding during pregnancy have no trouble carrying their babies to term.
Lack of fetal movement or a change in the normal activity level of your baby.
Persistent cramping or stabbing pains in the pelvis, back, or lower abdomen.
Call Your Doctor If:
You experience bleeding, pain, or cramping in your pelvis, back, or lower abdomen.
You notice that your fetus has become significantly less active than usual, or fetal kicks have stopped altogether.

If your constantly worried about the baby you can always buy a fetoscope or rent a doppler so you can check the baby's heartbeat when ever you are worried.
Personally I like the fetoscope better since it doesn't expose the baby to any ultrasonic waves.

If it's after 12 weeks but before the time you are feeling regular movement, honestly, you might not know if the baby died in utero. They would find out at your appointment if they didn't find a heartbeat.

Once you are far enough along to start feeling regular, daily movement, you would notice the absence of movement.

Other than that, there are really no other symptoms of the baby's demise itself. Sometimes after the baby dies labor starts spontaneously. Other times women need to be induced.

stillborn is when the baby is born dead and this is later in pregnancy..usually this happens to a fullterm preg and all the sudden baby passes away while in labor or before .... sometimes it happens 6 months or around then but rare. you would feel no fetal movement..and have some signs ...
