I have a sibling whom I live with in the same home. Our parent passed away and they moved in first. However, I did move in and they seem to be very bitter to me. I have a job but I do not drive. I have an illness so I can not drive. The other day they stated that I owe them 200.00 for gas in the car for taking me back to forth to work. They do not work. However, I also pay half of the mortgage and half of the utilities. I was furious because there was no agreement having to deal with the gas for the car. So, they wrote me a lettinr demanding payment that was backdated from 4 months ago. I replied that I would not pay utilities twice and that I am hardly home to use the utilities in the home and to put the money I give them toward the gas in the car and I would pay 1/6 of the utilities in the home. They have not replied yet to me on my proposal but, I am wondering am I being fair to both of us or not? I did stated I was not going to backpay that far. What should I do?

My Landlord just called me out of the blue to tell me he wanted to have a walk-through of the Apartment before the end of the month. He wanted to do it tomorrow, but I pushed for Wednesday (I know legally he must give 48 hours notice). When I asked him why he stated it was for insurance purposes.

We have not been late on any of our rent payments (he in fact has 6 months of post dated cheques) and we have not had any complaints against us from other tenants - anyone have any idea what "insurance purpose" he would be referring to?

I'm not that worried about my side of the house, but my room mate's room is another story - yet that's not even what bothers me, it's just kind of...a bad feeling to have someone root through your stuff.

alright, so i've like this guy for a while and he's really sweet, respectful, and cute, and the whole shebang. the problem is, is that he's 18 and in college and i'm 16 and a sophmore in high school. we met last year. but the thing is that we're barely even 2 years apart, not 3 like our grades. he's actually suppose to be a senior this year, but he started school early. i have a september birthday, and i was gunna start school early, but i didn't and i'm one of the oldest in my grades. so techically, it would be like a jounior dating a senior. which isn't bad. and i've always been mature for my age.

well anyway, the REAL QUESTION: i'm seeing him this weekend and i haven't seen him since summer before he left for college. so when i see him....should i flirt around with him? or is he too old for me???

anything would help!!!!

i got the shot because its the only thing that keeps me from getting pregnant but ive been bleeding since about a week after i got the injection. (& of course the shot works...because i havent stopped bleeding to even have sex to possibly get pregnant) lol.... Im due for my next shot November 9th and Im not getting the injection. well anyways i just wanted to know if anyone knows how long it might be till its out of my system....Also since ive been on the depo ive lost about 20 lbs. Is that normal since most people say they gain weight. (it wasnt a bad thing in my book because i just had a baby and it took me down past my pre-pregnancy weight...lol) but i was just wondering.

I do research studies for a living and lately I have been having problems with my blood pressure. It's not high, high, but just outside of the range. 140/90 is the upper limits and I have been 143/80, but have also been high just on diastolic. I attribute this to the stress in my life and the fact I really need the money that the study pays! When I get the blood pressure test, I just get tense and nervous.

What can I do to relax and not think about the test?!!

I ask this on behalf of my sister, as I have no children and no in-laws to worry about (thank God!). My sister has been going rounds with her mother-in-law about what is best for my niece. The mother-in-law insists that she knows best since she's had two children, whereas my sister feels that she is doing a fine job herself in parenting (this makes her second child as well); always reading parenting magazines and books, following the suggestions of her daughter's pediatrician, etc. I guess the mother-in-law believes that if her two kids didn't die over "certain things" than my niece won't either.

Now, I don't really know the first thing about child-rearing, but I couldn't imagine that Pepsi and caffeinated/carbonated beverages would be exactly healthy for an infant. My niece is eight months old and my sister's mother-in-law is always trying to give my niece Pepsi and soda in her bottles whenever she stays at her house.
