I have enjoyed it all three times I've seen it. There are lots of other people who love it, too. You are free to dislike it, but don't belittle others for liking it. I won't make a list of the musicals I don't like if keep your dislikes to yourself. Capice?

on a whole I've enjoyed wicked each time I've seen the show which is only about 5 times but(there's always a but) i went to a show on the cast change, i really didn't enjoy that performance and if that was my first time of seeing the show i would have never gone back.
i think what spoiled it for me was the very enthusiastic regular wicked fans who always enjoy the show but whooped, clapped screamed very loudly and sometimes right down my ear, their way through the performance.it's great that they showed their support for the performers who where leaving but for me i just a bit too much.
i have seen the show since so they totally didn't put me of that much,
my advice is if you didn't like it don't go and see it again and mark it down to experience, i hated fame when i saw it was on in the west end for years but never did go back

it's changed a lot over the last year and at the moment it is terrible.
when i first saw it i loved it, but the new cast aren't completely comfortable with physicalising their characters - and since half of them are playing animals ...!
Stephen Schwartz is always a bit of a hit and miss composer (hit: meadowlark, children of the wind. miss: quite a lot from Godspell ...) so there are some really amazing songs in the show, and some not so good ones.
perhaps if you saw it at a different time you'd enjoy it more

Well, I like it. It's not my number one or anything, but I think it's good.
Then again, we all have our different opinions and tastes.
It's okay if you didn't like it, but watch out. There are some serious teenyboppers on here who might attack with an "like zomgzz u h8 wicked!?!?!?!111!?!? no wayz, tht is like da best muiscal evaaa!!!!11!! mi fave song is dEfYiNg GrAvItY!!!111"
Annoying you say? Yes, I think so too.

Were you expecting an appearance by Freddy Krueger?

I loved it - one of the best I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. It prompted me to read the book, but I didn't like it as much.
