The nonmetal oxide, CO2, reacts with the metal oxide, CaO, to give CaCO3. would you expect boric oxide to react similarly with CO2?

I wouldnt think so because boron isnt even a metal so it wouldnt be considered a metal oxide....but im hoping theres a better explanation

It is clear that they want us to believe Israel have the right to invade lands and posses WMD.
It is clear that they want us to believe that Islam and Catholicism are wrong,
It is clear that they don't want to face the fact we lost war on drugs and war on Indians!
It is clear that they want to criminalize undocumented immigrants and ignore corruption in the U.S side.
It is clear that they want us to believe that Bush is doing well and that republicans are conservatives despite they act so liberal!

I am trying to instal a new drain line from my tub to the house's main line. I cannot unscrew the original drain from the tub - it is disconnected from the overflow, etc. The drain is a very hard metal, possibly iron - I broke my screwdriver trying to pry it up. I have a Brasscraft drain wrench that I can't get any torque on. (a little background on what I have already tried.) Any suggestions?

But when they talk of other races who are not white, the other races get a special title like Blacks = African, Browns= Mexicans or Latinos, Yellows= Asians, Reds= Indians. Should the "whites" play this game to? Germans, Russians, English, Italian, Greek, the list goes on.

Use shifts and/or reflections to graph each function. Determine the domain, range, and vertical asymptote of each function.

1. f(x) = In (x + 4)

2. f(x) = 2 + In x

3. f(x) = log(x - 4)

Can you help me find the points of these problems so I can write the graph! I just don't know how you find the points in these problems to write graph from!

...if I credit the artist of the images?
I'm writing a book (fiction) and I have found two images on the Internet that I believe would be 'eye-catching' marketing tools. Unfortunately, the artwork is currently being used by a music group for two of their album covers.
Where can I get info regarding copyrights and the payment due to the artists of same, as ruled on by Canadian business law?
(Sorry, two questions, but I don't want to see anyone (myself included) hurt by copyright infringement.)

Later Daze! =)

I had never flown and we were going over Galveston, TX. I asked if we would fly over the ocean and she said "I don't know, but if you look down and see it, then we'll be flying over it". My husband says I asked for it but I thought it was a legit question and didn't expect a rude answer. Isn't it part of her job to know at least a little about the flight route?
