I don't know, cuz sometimes I do snore so loud that I wake myself up.

I only snore when I'm very drunk.

And when I'm very drunk, it's one of the heaviest, passed-out, type sleeps I ever have.

So yeh, I assume you're in a deeper sleep when you're snoring.

deeper when you are snoring, or you would wake yourself up. snoring can indicate a sleep apnea problem and should be checked out with a sleep study.

snoring has nothing to do with deep sleep it is only blockage in the nasal pasages that causes it.
