Isn't it like the Trail of Tears all over?
We're robbing these people of their once-called "home" too.

This question IS proof that Hillary and the other lackeys are trolling the Y/A Immigration Boards to stir up sympathy for the freeloaders aka Illegal Aliens.

I do not approve of illegal immigration, but I don't despise illegal immigrants with the intensity most people seem to. I think that buildign a fence or wall on the border with Mexico is a stupid idea that will waste billions or dollars in tax money. I also doubt it will be very effective, since illegal immigrants could just cut a hole in the fence, dig under it, or get into the U.S. by overstaying a valid visa. Deporting illegal aliens would also be expensive. Granting amnesty to illegal aliens would be more economical because it would get them paying taxes. Anyone found to be in the U.S. illegally should be given the option to go through the legal immigration process, but they should also be fined and possibly given a jail or prison sentence for immigrating illegally. Also, the goverment should start going after companies that hire illegal aliens. These companies are pure evil- they practically enslave illegal immigrants by threatening to report them unless they accept meager wages (well below the legal minimum wage), and in doing so take away job oppurtunities from legal Americans, who they would of course be obligated to pay well. All so they can make more money.

By the way, what are you saying is like the Trail of Tears?! You did not make it clear and I don't see how anything to do with illegal immigration comes even close to the Trail of Tears. Pleases clarify.

No, those who lived here before AMerica took over, were allowed to stay. They even got a generous leeway in deciding which side of the border to live in. Besides, Spain/Mexico did not really colonize the Western United states. THere were a few that came here, but most of the labor was done by Indian slaves. Will at least, in California. I heards similar things about the Southwest. THere wasn't much infrastructure for them to survive back then. It isn't like the SOuthwest had a dependable water supply.

Illegal immigration is bad.
First off illegals have not gone through the proper screening process. It's no wonder that 7 out of the FBI 10 most wanted are illegals. So now tax payers are spending tax dollars having the FBI looking for them.
Secondly These people haven't gone through the proper physicals, it's no wonder that TB amongst out dieses are seeing a come back. The sick illegals are seeing doctors it's our tax dollars that are paying the bill.
Thirdly many say that they are doing the jobs Americans don't want to do. If that's the case and there is a demand for labor then the companies can pay to have people come into the country legally. Meeting all the criteria.
Illlegals are just taking the opportunity away from others who want to come into American legallly.

Immigration is fine. ILLEGAL immigration is a crime. If you want to come here, do it legally. We cannot afford to take care of all the needs of the illegals, their families, their health care, their jobs, their education, etc. Illegals should not be permitted to stay and then rewarded for breaking the law. I am against amnesty and any benefits that some want to give away. The cost of taking care of all the illegals is bankrupting us!! For anyone to think that amnesty is fine, giving drivers licenses to law breakers is not dangerous, giving the ability to vote (when you are not even a citizen) is acceptable, paying college tuitions for illegals and supporting the idea that no illegal can be deported after applying for amnesty is absolute insanity!! Some people need to grow a brain before we destroy everything we once believed in. Laws are meant to be adhered to, not overlooked.

You asked...... First, start with impeaching Bush. He betrayed us, committed treason, and has a complete dereliction of duties at protecting the border. One might as well call it Border Insecurity.

Then, lets mine the border for about 1000' for the entire length of the border. Jail the CEOs and business leaders who knowingly use illegals. Throw away the key. Confiscated their personal property. Sell it and take the money and give it to the people who have been laid off of work due to illegal workers in the country. Remove all illegals from jails and prisons and then deport them. Tell them if they return, they will be shot. Give monetary rewards to people who turn in illegals. Then sell the personal property of the turned in illegals. Give the money to other laid off workers due to illegals taking legals jobs. Adults who cannot speak English are to be deported ASAP.

I think when these measures are implemented, we can start on other measures.

The USA spilled blood and then paid Mexico for the southwest after WINNING the war. We didn't have to pay Mexico anything. We paid Mexico 15 Million and absorbed and paid an additional 3 Million of their foreign debt. Convert that to todays dollars. We did it because we are the good guys.

If you want it back....come get it.

I don't think the result will be any different than it was in 1848.
The result will be the same.
