the other day i told my wife in a disscution that "if i find out my daughter is sexually active b4 she is atleast 18 i will go nuts and even at 18 i wouldn't be happy about it " she then asked what i would do if i find out my son is sexually active b4 he is 18 and i replyed "i'll be damn proud!!" she thought i was wrong to be more protective of my daughter in this matter
i told her that i know my son could catch an std or get a girl pregnant but thats not really the issue because i hope i will do a good enough job educating both my children about such things b4 it's to late for me it's about innocence i love both my children the same but my son will always be my son even when he becomes the responsable man i hope we can raise him 2b but my daughter will always be my little princess even when she becomes the responsable woman i hope we can raise her 2b. and i will always be more protective of her than him.
is my wife or me right or wrong??

Off the Jehovah's Witnesses by making them THINK that Armageddon is near?
So the Witnesses will have no reason to save for retirement, and Buy Homes and Send their kids to College....they can just give all of the money to the WBTS

My brother is 19 and lives with his girlfriend.
He is always getting into trouble or wrecking his car which therefore costs my parents a lot of money to fix. My parents are always in a bad mood and aren't able to get me the things I need because they are too busy spending time and money to clean up his messes.
My brother only thinks of himself and doesn't take anything seriously. He works at a fast food place and uses his money to make his car payments and buy drugs and thats it.
I'm afraid that my parents aren't going to let me drive or get a job when I want to because they're afraid I will end up an idiot like him.
I strive to be the perfect child everyday.
I do chores without being asked, maintain good grades, and don't get into trouble. But all their attention is always focused on my brother's latest incident.
Is there anything I or my parents can do?

This guy and i for years are friends in love.When we met he gave his number address then he moved years back he hasnt given his number address.Hes given number which he says is his friends number if i need to talk to him but i suspect its his number.Hes given all his number address around me but not me.Hes single in his 30s professional.All he ever talks asks is about me with my friends or making his friends do that when they are with my friends.He wont meet in person directly but i see him at parties where he comes to check me out.He wont admit if i confront him.Why is he singling me out,treats me special,treats others normal when obvious to all he loves me.

Do people really believe that the members of the Baptist Church in Topeka,Kansas are really Christian?
When Atheists see something like this do they think that all Christians are this crazy and that's why they ridicule us?
As a Christian I'm not afraid to take a stand and say that these people are not Christian but something else altogether.
And that something would be more akin to the devils advocate.
Wouldn't you agree?

I am christian- knowing that:

If you believe the bible word for word what about the passage in which Jesus tells you to cut off your hand if it causes you to sin/jab out your eye if it causes you to sin? Why are you not all handless blind people?

I know this sounds rude, but I cannot find another to way to word it. I just dont see how you can believe the bible word for word, literally and more metaphorically.

If any one out there speaks Italian then please help. My family has a strong Italian back-round and my older sister's boyfriend thought it would be romantic to write her a love poem in Italian for their anniversary. I said I would help him but we're hitting a lot of road blocks! So could someone please translate (and these are his words NOT MINE)

How about we avoid semantics. Are sinners going to burn forever in hell? The Bible seems clear they will so why do some "Christians" teach there is no Hell? For my purposes lets assume Hell refers to a place of punishment and fire.

Sinners are cast into an everlasting fire.

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Everlasting punishment for sinners.

Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

If Hell is just the grave then why are we warned to fear the one who can kill and then cast you into Hell? If you are dead what fear does a grave hold?

Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

The rich man was in torment in Hell.
