How do I tell stories that are interesting and paints pictures in other people's minds? Like if I want to share an experience I had, how can I do it in the most interesting and fun way? How do I get better at talking?

concentrate on the details. to try and get you warmed up, write a paragraph about thanksgiving. the sights, the smells, write about what the table looks like when your entire family sits down. this sounds like something an English teacher said - and I am one. I say this a lot. Use precise nouns; don't say cat, say black, long-haired purring ball of fur. get rid of all dull verbs, such as got, had, am. don't say we got food, say we ate a large bowl of spaghetti dripping with sauce and extra parmesan

Take a writing coarse. There may even be a few good quick coarses for free on the internet.

add lots of details for instance instead of saying "My bird bit me." Say "My bird puncture my skin with his razor sharp teeth!" Did you get a picture in youre head? hoped this helped!
