If any one out there speaks Italian then please help. My family has a strong Italian back-round and my older sister's boyfriend thought it would be romantic to write her a love poem in Italian for their anniversary. I said I would help him but we're hitting a lot of road blocks! So could someone please translate (and these are his words NOT MINE)
"I will love you for all eternity
I will cherish you for all my days
As long as walk this earth
My beloved you will be."

Thanks for me and him!

Thanks Tiah, I'll give you best answer as soon as I'm able to! And a message to imparical; just because my grandparents emigrated from Italy doesn’t automatically make me fluent in Italian and yes I can pronounce my last name thank you very much and in the future kindly keep your rude comments to yourself!

ogni giorno
per l'eternità
ti amerò teneramente
fino a quando camminerò su questa terra
tu sarai il mio amore

in case the subject of "as long as walk this earth" is "you" (and not I as I translated) the verb is "camminerai" (fino a quando camminerai su questa terra / tu sarai il mio amore).

That's my "human" translation in current Italian.
All previous answers are weird Italian from on line translators.
I can't figure any answer from a native...!!_

Ti amerò per l'eternità
Ti avrò nel mio cuore per il resto dei miei giorni
Tu sarai sempre il mio amore
Fin quando resterò su questa terra

which literal translation is

I will love you for the eternity
I will have you in my earth for the rest of my days
You'll be always my beloved
as long as I will remain on this earth

Edit - You may give her yr Best Answer but don't use the translation given by Tiah as it's totally wrong

All of the translations are wrong, most of them just used an automatic translator. you should use the wordreference forums, people there could actually help you, a lot of them are translators.. at least give it a try..

I think it would be something like this, note that I do not speak Italian, I speak spanish but I learned the.. "bridge" between them.Just a question, if you have a strong italian background, why don't you know how to write it?????
Do you even know how to pronounce your last name right?

L'amerò per tutta l'eternità la conserverò per tutti i giorni finché cammina questa terra il Mio amato che lei
sarà".
