I was grabbing dinner today when I overheard a girl from my history lecture class whisper to another girl that I was cute. Since she was looking in my direction and no one else was with me when I walked by, I assume she was talking about me.

I think she's pretty hot too. Should I make a move? Wonder if I should say something like "So you think I'm cute, huh?" Would it be embarrassing if I told her that I overheard her?

I had asked previously in my last question "Do I have a chance in getting back with my ex-girlfriend?" and got several great reponses, thank you to those who did. But, I am curious what i should do, and where I stand....I am just unsure how to act around my ex...even though i try to play it cool and act like i did before we went out. I am also unsure if i'm reading signs correctly if she still likes me....please help? and feel free to ask questions if that can help you decide what I should do.

You were hanging out with a bunch of friends & you all invited a very beautiful woman friend (whom you had a severe crush on) to join you. Unlike your friends, you were an innocent, down-to-earth person who naturally didn't talk much.

But then it turned out that this women never talked to you, she got carried away having fun with the smooth-talking, top personality friends. You tried to open a conversation with her, and she just kept smiling at you and tried to avoid you because she felt you were boring or something. She ended up having lots of fun with the other guys & you were left sad & disgruntled because the woman you so cherished for never found you interesting.

I'm a Canadian citizen, and I owned a pre-contruction condo for ~2yrs. I do not own any other property.

It was my intent for it to be my principle residence. I went for the house inspection and had my lawyer prepared all the necessary documents. After the inspection, I later realized it was not a place where I want to live in. It was very close to the final date for the ownership transfer (with the developer) and I sold the condos to another person.

My question is if I can treat this as my principle residence and not pay tax on the gain? If not, it this a "capital gain" of which 50% is taxable?

My husband lies to me about several things, controls all money, and gives me loads of grief because we have lots of cats. He says he purposely stays away simply because of them (lame excuse). He works for himself and puts that above all else. Even though he is working so hard, since May he has paid 2 phone bills & 1 light bill. My house that my Mom gave us is now in serious jeporady of being foreclosed. I found out he was keeping crap from me again and told him that was it, I was done. Now he is coming around acting like it was just a fight and like nothing ever happened. That is his way. I sort of want to work things out, but I am tired of going through this and I can not believe a word he says. It makes it worse for him to act like nothing ever happened. I have tried at least 100 times to talk to him, and he ignores me or just says I am b_tching.
I don't know that I can handle anymore roller coaster's with him, yet I love him. So Yahooer's what do I do?????

I am protestant and my fiance is Catholic. I am divorced, he has never married. I am unable to have any more children (I have one daughter who is 14 and also protestant). I REFUSE to get my 1st marriage annulled by the Catholic church, so they will not marry us or "bless" our marriage if we are married by another minister or district justice. My fiance does not care and would rather be married by our friends father who is a Methodist minister than the district justice. HIS MOTHER IS NOT HAPPY because we can't get our marriage blessed.
BTW, I am 40 and my fiance is 39!! What's the deal?!?!?

We are looking at this option to better utilize extra cash to pay off some consumer debt (that cannot be included in the refinance) but people are so negative about it. We are going with an option ARM and WILL be making the full amortization payment (based on a 40 year loan). We are going to be using the 12MAT program (I can't seem to get enough information on this) but it appears to be relatively stable based on the 12-month Treasury Average. I understand about the "interest only" payment and are fully avoiding that. We can't go with a decent fixed rate due to our income to debt resulting in a 680 FICO score. Will our plan, we should be able to pay off most of the consumer debt in 2 years then refinance into a fixed rate. Does this sound like a realistic plan. With paying as we will (fully 30 year), does this loan have a chance for negative amortization? Believe me, we have learned our lesson on using credit cards and taking out loans.
