I was grabbing dinner today when I overheard a girl from my history lecture class whisper to another girl that I was cute. Since she was looking in my direction and no one else was with me when I walked by, I assume she was talking about me.

I think she's pretty hot too. Should I make a move? Wonder if I should say something like "So you think I'm cute, huh?" Would it be embarrassing if I told her that I overheard her?

yeah i wouldn't be like so you think im cute huh.. LOL that'd be embarassing.. but maybe get a guy friend and see her out somewhere and whisper, but say it loud enough she can hear and be like "shes pretty cute" and then maybe start talking to her, or just start noticing her and saying hi and ask whats up and stuff you know.. be casual about it :) but don't be so straight forward you know

Don't embarrass her by telling. Besides just because she was looking in your direction does not mean you were the subject of conversation.

Talk to her about mutual interest things, and ask her out. If she was talking about you, you will find out. If she wasn't, you dodged an embarrassing situation.

If you think she's hot, and want to ask her out, then do it! She might be embarrassed if you say right off the bat that you overheard her, but if she agrees to go out with you, maybe you can tell her on your date with her! Good luck!

That is embarrassing to me if someone just overheard me. But then again, it sounds like you're not sure if shes talking about you.

Hmmm, if your not 100% sure that she said it about you I wouldn't. It would be really embarrassing for you to say something like that and have her be like "What? I never said that?" I would wait to see if she gives off more signs, if she does than make your move. It's a little too soon to tell right now....

hey,
do you have any friends that talk to her or know her. if you do then tell them to ask, but secretely. if you don't then start talking to her all normally and start becoming friends with her, i'm sure she wouldn't mind. then get into the conversation and you could bring it up, but i wouldn't. it would be kinda weird. unless you bring it up in a right way.
so i'm a girl and girls like it when cute guys talk to them, but don't make her feel embarrassed or don't discomfort her. act normal and make her feel comfort and not shy to the point where she starts acting stupid. i'm sure she like you. and she'll like you more if you start talking to her cause she'll get to know you more.

Naa. I would just talk to her. Confronting her may embarass her. It's like you have a trump card and you're going to play it and deny her the right to say she doesn't like you. And if she WAS talking about someone else you will be quite embarassed.
Just talk to her. Find some random subject, like your history teacher for example, to talk about. If she likes you, you will feel it. Don't worry.

Don't say anything like "I heard you said I am cute" or "I hear something", just go talk to her in general.

You might come across as being cocky-what if she wasn't talking about you--oops! If you like what you know of her ask her to lunch or coffee and take it from there.
