this has been happening to me in the last week. I amjust about asleep, totally relaxed then suddenly i will hear a loud noise and wake up thinking something has happened and when i investigate theres nothing? just now i was just asleep when i heard an almighty crash, i woke, my partner carried on sleeping and i realised this has been happening a lot recently? if you have any suggestions i would be grateful

I am moving to the US (Chicago) from Australia next year and are looking at various types of cars to consider purchasing. I need a car that doesn't chew through fuel, is relatively cheap (less than $3000), has cheap registration and are a pleasure to drive. Any suggestions?

I don't understand, I can only spend 200 out of 1400. is the rest used by the bank as loans,and expenses for other people and the 200 for personal use? I ask this because 200 out of 1400 seems a bit too low.

My daughter started taking Ritalin for ADHD two years ago, and seeing a psychiatrist regularly. Since then, she's become irritable, suspicious, dumped her boyfriend who loves her, continually angry with me, and blames me for all kinds of problems she doesn't even have! She's 26 and lives 3,000 miles away so I have little oppportunity to do anything to correct this. She doesn't even communicate any longer except for occasional long angry emails, and won't answer the phone when I call her.

She used to be a sweet (if slightly ditzy) wonderful girl whom I always treated as if she were a little angel. You could say she was spoiled because she got anything she wanted, but she never behaved badly at all and never asked for very much. She was and is beautiful, an outstanding student and athlete.

Is this common? Should I just go away because I didn't get her medicated sooner or let her run the streets like she says I should have?

I bought the recycling bin and the trash can and I am always the one taking out the trash other than my roommates. I had enough so I just grabbed my two bins and put them by my bedside. I thought they got the picture when they started putting trash in a plastic bag. but this was last sunday. The trash is still in the bag and it is mixed with recycles!!! It is still there and overflowing! it's not my trash and I don't understand why they aren't taking it out! are they waiting for me to do it??

they also never clean the shower or sinks. I find phlegm all over because they are smokers. It's disgusting.

I know last year I was having some issues and had a hard time focusing on cleaning things and my old roommates had to nag me.

but this is like worse then ME! I thought I was a slob! I guess I'm not that bad after all.

today I came back to find the window open. It's serious because I knew it was raining this weekend! what if I left my laptop on the desk?

Agh! I sent in my resume to a company a few days ago, for a part-time job that pays a bit above minimum wage. I forgot, however, that I had mistakenly put my cell number on the resume instead of my home phone. And, since I don't regularly use my cell, I missed the original call from my potential employer. He called to set up an interview on Friday, and I only just got the message--it's past 6pm on a Sunday night. Have I ruined my first impression? Where should I go from here?? Please help!
