There were laws put in place that limit women to one abortion, and only in the first trimester?

Crap, I have to start paying attention to what I'm writing tonight.
What I meant was, would you change your mind if such laws were in place?

I am pro life, but I'm pro life for the mom as well as the baby. I am pro contraception, pro education, pro abstinence.
I want to see a time where abortion isn't necessary because people are educated and prepared for sex. I want to see all of us take a more active stance in preventing unwanted pregnancy, and make adoption more monetarily affordable for those who qualify.
I am pro life because every life is precious. Life is so precious that only the serious should conceive it.

I would like we had a law that allows abortion only when the mother's life is at risk or if she is mentally disabled. Other than that, I am against abortion.
I think Government and Religion should have an important role in the situation by law. Government should provide health care for single mothers. Religion should work as mediator between mother and families who wish to adopt. Education and Health System should work harder on PREVENTION, by having intense sexual class in schools and free access to condoms, mandatory medical evaluation for teens.
Those are some of things I can tell you that should be reinforced by Law.

I have never heard of a limit- where is that? I wonder if you have to give ID then. I could make up a different name each time?
Am totally choice, but I do prefer the idea of first trimester though. It's not about convenience; it's one of those 'Oh damn I did something really stupid and if I can just fix it this one time I will never let it happen again' times that must be protected because women are always going to want to have that choice.
And if you think it is 'killing' and shouldn't be, I expect you are a vegetarian who never kills bugs, right?

I'm not pro-life because of anything the woman does or doesn't do. I am pro-life because I believe that the fetus that a woman carries is a human being. And since I think it is a human being, I think that killing it is murder.
This has nothing to do with what motivations a woman has for having an abortion, though I am fully aware of the fact that some motivations for this are less ignoble than others. It comes down to the fact that if the fetus in there *is* a human being, killing it is no different than murdering a person on the street.

I know a woman who had at least 11 abortions that I know of, and 5 live births. [1 set of twins in there] Abortion as birth control. Makes me sick. I think we would be shocked at how many women have repeated abortions.

thats total bs. 75million+ have been aborted (in the US) since roe v wade - either one hell of a lot of women have abortions or there have been one or two (or 5 or 6) repeat trips to planned parenthood for a few women.
edit: no, of course i wouldn't.
(to me that sounds like: "would you change your mind about the fact that grand theft auto is wrong if the govt passed a law that people are only allowed to steal one car?")

This law isn't in the US. I have never thought that about any woman who has had an abortion. I think that there are so many emotional scars after an abortion, that is why I am against them.

Where are these laws? Not in the States or Europe, to my knowledge.
Abortions in the West are done because the babies,left unkilled, are inconvenient to someone and "burdensome to society".

I'm pro life because you kill a human life when you commit abortion. Life is formed at conception.
