i really need it my brother messed up my computer by putting a windows xp restore disk in to my windows 98 computer HELP!!! please

try limewire. i cant send the file over the internet.

Whoa! Get a 98 boot disk, and in the utilities there you will find scandisk. It will check the boot sector information (pointer) and try to correct it for you. If you need to, you may have to restore the registry to an earlier date IE last time it booted okay.

if u search on google for it you should be able to find it.
on the windows 98 restore disk, which you can make from any computer containing windows 98, type in the command promp aka C:/ TYPE IT SO IT LOOKS LIKE THIS: C:/fdisk that should help. it always works for me.
