I think this is occuring on a logarithmic scale rather than linear. The glaciers and Greenland/antartic ice are melting faster with time rather than melting in a uniform linear fashion.

I have read a lot on here lately and my story is a little different. I have been married 27 years! We had 2 children. I had always been extremely close to my kids. My daughter is married with her own kids. My son passed away 4 years ago at 18 y.o. It has cause a lot of depression for me and more so than her. I have been and she has been to counseling.
My counselors have learned that I have never been in love with my wife and had been married to my kids for this long. I gave her a friendship ring in college and she took it as an engagement ring. I never wanted to hurt her so I went with it. Now that I am 50, I just cannot feel comfortable to her. She also knows that I love her but never have been in love with her. I have tried all kinds of things to bring us closer but nothing works. She is in one room and I am in the other. Any advice? Thanks.

I had a 96.6% in my biology class, and i took a test which i got an 85% on. After this 85% my grade dropped to an 89.8%. How much percent of my total grade would the test have to be for my grade to drop 7%!?

Also, does anyone else think this is completely ridiculous??

I stealthily entered the convention center, wary that I was entering a trap. A small note left on my desk during my lunch break instructed me to come to the facility right after work, with no explanation.

I came to the ballroom near the back, and immediately heard hushed whispers and even a stifled laugh. That’s when I flung the doors open, firing my laser cannon wildly, hoping to gain some element of surprise to my favor.

“EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!” I yelled, as dozens of people went up in plumes of smoke and fire. Within moments, it was over. Victory was mine. Or so I thought, until I read the banner hanging over the room.

“Yo man! What the hell are you doing? You just fried my family and friends!”

I turned and faced the frantic young man.

I am married but I have a huge crush on another guy that I know. He is such an awesome guy and he makes me have thoughts that are not good when your married. Don't get me wrong I would NEVER cheat on my husband or do anything to jeopardize our marriage. But every time I see this other guy it makes me question why I am married. I cant just not see him as he is a mutual friend in the group I hang out with and also a family friend. Is it wrong of me to have these thoughts and if so what can I do to stop them?????

like Germany and Poland, Europe in general are generally more in touch with real hip-hop from the U.S. than white people actually living here are? I mean over there DJ Premier gets awards at the grammys, over here he doesn't get SHlT. If you talk to a lot of underground artists here they'll tell you they sell out concerts there way more than here and get way more love. So why do you think this is?

i just found out i had genital herpes. my doctor said its my first outbreak cause she took my blood and i guess is able to tell if its a reccuring outbreak or new. Whatever, she said one came back pos. and the other neg. wich ment that it was my first outbreak. She says that the first outbreak occurs 2-5 weeks after contact with the virus, i asked her if i could have had it dorment for years she said no because this is my only outbreak. we have been together for four years, he was blood tested and it was neg. for herpes.. so tell me... how did i get it sexually? i know of a child at my daycare i work at who gets cold sores on his lips, he is a biter so i am constantly putting my hands on his mouth to stop him from biting. is there a chance i could have forgotten to wash my hands and then went to the bathroom and wiped... could that have been passed?

I'm wanting the full-blown rigorous definition: 'Prophets in the Biblical sense', not 'someone who has functioned prophetically' or 'my friend's friend told me something and it came true!!!' and not 'False Prophets' etc. etc.
Do you think there are Biblical level/quality prophets in the world today? Why or Why Not?
