like Germany and Poland, Europe in general are generally more in touch with real hip-hop from the U.S. than white people actually living here are? I mean over there DJ Premier gets awards at the grammys, over here he doesn't get SHlT. If you talk to a lot of underground artists here they'll tell you they sell out concerts there way more than here and get way more love. So why do you think this is?

Because they love pure hip hop...They embrace the culture for real...Even the Japanese are more in touch with real hip hop then the place where it is supposedly created at...I love the fact that they do and hope that they continue to enjoy it in its purest stage. They recognize the ART of it and all its elements.

Thats because they're still behind in hip hop culture. Germany's a long ways off, it took a while for hip hop to spread over there so they're still in 'the golden age' I heard b boys and graffiti is still strong in Paris. Lucky them.

also id like to say japan has some of the best (in my opinion) underground artists from here. everything is sold in japan before its sold here (ex. son of ran, sinuous, the upstarts, the paranorml)

why cant they sell good artists here...enough with this 50 cent bullshit :(

I think it's becuase over here they're generally more into what they can dance to, and over there they're more into actual talent and skill.
