0.01 = 1/100 or 1 part in 100 parts; think of a pizza with 100 slices and you would have one of those slices

0.0001 = 1/10,000 or 1 part in 10,000 parts; again, the pizza... but this time it has 10,000 slices; if the pizza is the same size, the slices are much smaller; therefore, 0.01 is bigger than 0.0001
