I am married but I have a huge crush on another guy that I know. He is such an awesome guy and he makes me have thoughts that are not good when your married. Don't get me wrong I would NEVER cheat on my husband or do anything to jeopardize our marriage. But every time I see this other guy it makes me question why I am married. I cant just not see him as he is a mutual friend in the group I hang out with and also a family friend. Is it wrong of me to have these thoughts and if so what can I do to stop them?????

Just keep your feelings in check & don't act on them. No, it's not unusual for someone to "think" of someone else, but it's not a love you have for him. The grass always looks greener on the other side of the fince, just remember that. Also, remember how much you love your husband & all the reasons why you love him. I'm sure you wouldn't want him to feel the same way you're feeling about someone else! Just know it's forbidden territory & try to stay as far away from him as you can. Just KNOW nothing is going to happen, so why eat your heart out for nothing. Accept the fact he's just someone who happens to "look" interesting, but that's all the further it's going to go. Stop them because you KNOW you're wasting your time!

I wouldn't say it's wrong to have such feelings, merely a natural human response. You just have to make sure you stay on top of them and don't act spontaneously. Don't let the guy get you into any type of situation where you might do something you regret.

Think about it:

You married your husband because you loved him for him.
You just know that other guy and the feelings you have for him are just lust, not love.

It's not wrong as long as you don't act on those feelings.

dont' entertain them at all - if you start thinking about it - the more you are likely to commit adultery. as soon as you think of it - tell God you are struggling with the thought - and ask for help, even if all you do is say Jesus help me.

it may help to write down what you love and appreciate about your husband - the good things

CODE RED! SOUND THE ALARM!

1. There Is something wrong with your husband for not seeing that you did not love him before he considered tying the knot. Now he's going to be in a world of hurt!

2. Hate to get religious on here, but the Bible says that "He who hath lust after a woman hath committed adultery with her already, in his heart." Same goes for you.

There Is nothing you can do but get divorced. You do not love your husband and I feel sorry for him because he made the mistake of marrying a woman who doesn't care about him! Don't feel bad, It's not your fault. I just hope the chap has learns his lesson...
