I know of several couples who have adopted children -- not infants -- from overseas, such as Guatamala, Russia and Liberia. I know it's very difficult to adopt an American infant, and I'm wondering what keeps American couples from adopting American children out of foster care or from an agency?

These days at my school, everyone's all depressed and they say they're going to commit suicide and they put this on their facebooks and profiles and then they come to school the next day with bandages on their arms and when people ask about them, they just say they don't want to talk about it. And then later, they're complaining about how nobody cares about them and how their heartbroken. Just recently, my parents got a divorce and my mom's been trying really hard to get a job and I told my friends this and they felt sorry at the moment and then a day later, they're complaining about how their boyfriends broke up with them(again) and I think they've already forgotten whats going on with me. I need someone to talk to. What should i do? thanks if you're actually reading this.

I just got the game and I'm on the part where you're suposed to go through the gate behind the village and there are a bunch of people in front of the village. Even when I kill a lot of people I loose all my ammo and when I get to the gate it wont open! How do I get through?

Im not going to hire a DJ for my reception or any music for the wedding, Im making up some CD's or using an ipod. I just wanted to know how loud are the ipod speakers, would they be loud enough for a reception or do ipods plug into your normal stereo?

I was playing the game fine for a few days, then it all went to crap. Buildings wouldn't load, roads wouldn't load, etc. I figured that my 3 year old video card was going out, so I bought a new one (nothing great, but better than the one I had), and it was even worse with that card.

I was recently told that the reason Morticia wore such a tight, slim fitting dress and took such tiny steps (looked like she was shuffling along) was because she was a plant with roots. Also, the reason that she would cut the heads off her roses, because no rose could be more beautiful than Morticia. I've tried looking on Wikipedia and other sources and can't find anything about her being a plant....except some sort of reference to her sister Ophelia being cover in daisys? Do you know?

I want to move out of CA because it's too expensive, etc. I want to move to Arkansas and she knows people that will give me a job... but she refuses to do anything or help me out. She is always like this. What can I do? Maybe I can ask my aunt for help? I don't want to stay with her. I want to be on my own, but I do not know anyone and I think that's the best way to get a job from word of mouth!

I live in a small town of about 100,000 people, and I was wondering why the interstate divides the city in half. On one side, there is shopping and houses and hotels and stuff, and on the other side, there is like a farm with cows and junk.

It is like 8 lanes wide and it is really ugly and distracting. Are most places like this or is my town just retarded?
