My fav was my 1985 Chevy Nova. V-8 engine with points, not that fancy computer. Had to advance or retard the timing, and set the gap just right on the points. Spark plugs 6 & 8 were almost impossible to get to because of the side firewall.
And it would actually run on 6 plugs and stall out, until you remembered to plug them back in.
The best part was the "AM radio" police detector. My AM radio would static and zonk out if a cop was near....better than any radar detector invented!!! :-)
A bear to work on, but at least I was able to work on it myself. As Grandpa would have said, "We were miserable....and we loved it!" LOL!!!!

The Knight Industries Two Thousand, (KITT from Knight Rider) for fictional autos, but for real life a Chevette. yeh, everyone is laughing, but they were cheap to gas up, cheap on tires, cheap to fix, easy to park, and still had quite a bit of loading space. I've had two, and would love to buy one with low mileage for commuting.
