An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house and, after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen. The two elderly gentlemen were talking, and one says: "Last night we went out to a new restaurant, and it was really great. I would recommend it very highly."

The other man says: "What's the name of the restaurant?" The first man knits his brow in obvious concentration, and finally says to his companion: "Aahh, what is the name of that red flower you give to someone you love?"

His friend replies: "A carnation?" "No, no. The other one," the man says. His friend offers another suggestion: "The poppy?" "Nahhhh," growls the man.

"You know - the one that is red and has thorns." His friend says: "Do you mean a rose?" "Yes! Thank you!" the first man says. He then turns toward the kitchen and yells: "Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?"

him, I want an outside opinion. So, I will list the symptoms. Please tell me what mental disorder you think this sounds like, or if it just sounds like a normal guy...

To other people, he is incredibly friendly and hyper, but easily angered.

To me, he’ll be very nice, energetic, excited over everything, happy and fun. Then, suddenly, he'll change. And for the next several days to a week, he’ll get very angry and jealous at mentions of small things, like me saying anything positive about another guy. He'll start to angrily bring up issues that happened months ago that seemed to be already resolved, as if they'd just happened. He'll constantly say accusatory things, like "I know you thought that guy was hot.” Often makes statements of self-loathing, eg "I'm so fat," "I'm ugly," "I can't do anything right."

Usually everything will sort of be lumped together. He'll rant about some guy he thinks I like, then he'll turn around and insult himself.

There is a confusion:

1. Galileo was a bad man for lying about Creation by using a so-called telescope. He took back his words to the Church and was sorry 4 why he did it.

2. But astronomy is done by a witches? And someone said star signs is nothing but the sign of the Beast?

Some poster earlier indicated by their posting that these two men are related. Anyone have the real facts?

By the way, I heard that someone did the genealogy behind the Queen of England and found that she is part-Chinese from a liaison almost four thousand years ago.

I was glowing the first few months after we were engaged (after 3 yrs of dating). But now, we're less than a year away from our tentative wedding date.. and I'm just not "feelin' it" anymore. I think nonstop about how I don't want to ever divorce, or have kids w/someone if the relationship won't work out.

He and I have also lost that "honeymoon" feeling, and I don't know what all of this means. I'm horrible at figuring out my own life.

my daughter just realised that shes adopted. i dont know how she knows about it. shes angry i hadnt told her. ihad actually decided to tell her when shes 12 years.. shes still 9 years... so i hadnt told her.. now she doesnt talk to us properly, tries to ignore us if we try to talk to her.. i want to talk to her... but she doesnt listen to me... i also have the fear that she may attempt a suicide that shes not living with her own parents... plzplz help........
