People were talking like AIDS was going to destroy the world 20 years ago, and now it's basically not even a big deal. I don't know a soul with AIDS. Now, CNN says a staph superbug will probably kill more people than AIDS this year.

Any insight on the situation?

I wouldn't say it's overrated, because it can kill you and it is preventable.

Something they dont want you to know about AIDS. If you take your meds as directed its very likely that the virus can get so low in the bloodstream that you cant even tell you had the disease.

Yes, as a matter of health it is. About as overrated as a Heart
attack. Common sense tells us, to be carefull. Hope for the
best, prepare for the worst.

the funny thing is that all those nasty things are overrated unless you get one of them then you would never even think that thought
