They have a hidden agenda, especially when it comes to African Americans. Sure, they will sell the fact that they are there to promote "sexual health", contraceptives and well woman exams, but always remember, just like the old saying, everything that shines isn't gold!

How could anyone be against something that sounds as good as planning to be a parent?

If they were honest and called it 'The Abortion Factory' or made the statement "1 Million Kids Brains Scrambled" who would support them?

And what pray tell, is their agenda? Really, if you've got some behind the scenes info, fine, but they have helped many women out of bad situations and helped many prevent bad situations from even starting. If the issue is abortion, you need to look at the big picture.
Edit: O.k., I'll check it out, but if it was written by Margaret Sanger, that was a long time ago....

just read an excerpt and while I have not read the actual book, it still only made it out to help those blackwomen who were either carrying disease, were financially incapable of taking care of more children, or were feeble minded....those women sought help and received it.

Planned Parenthood pulled my butt out of the fire once. I am not black, and my partner was not black. They provide an essential service to the entire poor community, and I'll not fault them for what someone said decades ago. I only wish there were more Planned Parenthood offices within easy reach of the millions of women who need them.

Because they give me free physicals and free birth control pills. Which are both pretty expensive out of pocket.
