As you say it will never happen. You may as well consider whether you would laugh or cry if Hazel Blears became Prime Minister, as both are just as unlikely, and are both as depressing to contemplate

A little bit of both.
When the Lib Dems lost Kennedy, they lost a sense of credibility and relevance that they haven't yet got back.
Any political party needs a leader with charisma and speaking skills that are able to hold the listener's attention...neither Campbell nor Huhne (if he gets the job) have that.
