Looking at the church service for Catholics, known as the Mass, we see that Catholics kneel in the real and true presence of Jesus. Humbly kneeling in the presence of God, they offer gifts to God, the bread and wine, work of human hands. They ask God's mercy and offer Him praise and sacrifice.

So I have to wonder, do protestants really consider it to be "worshiping God" when they go to church and listen to a man talk for most of the service, giving his personal interpretations and opinions about scripture and God?

It seems to me that Catholics are focused on Christ while the protestants are focused on their pastors.

Here are a few details...
Unmarried w/ 1 child
Share house and bills w/ someone else (not sure if I can claim H.O.H)
Salary 21,840/year (allows me to claim E.I.C)

I want to get the most possible back each week. Yet I do not want to owe any taxes in April. I also do not want to claim too many exemptions that it sends a red flag to the IRS.

For my understanding, please explain why I can claim these
exemptions.

This picture is found on page 118 of the latest issue of "Entertainment Weekly" in an advertisement for American Ballet Theater. The "Entertainment Weekly" is the annual photo issue with Patrick Dempsey on the cover. The photograph is of Julie Kent and Marcelo Gomes in a scene from "The Leaves are Fading". Look at Marcelo Gomes' lower torso. What is wrong with this photo? I can't figure it out.

I was so looking forward to the show on Tuesday night, but when I got the e-mail from Ticketmaster letting me know of the cancelled shows, I immediately went on their web site to get more news. But nothing there.
The Sting website just mentioned the cancelled gigs, but no new dates are yet set. Any ideas?

The solution is on recall. DO NOT use the old bottles. It clogs the machines and ruins them. I just ruined 3 of mine! I bought it at the beginning of October before the recall happened. They now have the new bottles in the store.

My younger sister is almost 50, married and very poor. Her husband is on disability and she has never worked outside the home. Their children are grown now and on their own. Up until his death 5 years ago our father had bought used cars and pickups and gave them to my sister (and her family). "Sister" hasn't asked yet, but I'm sure there is a need. She lives in another state so I can't simply lend her my car when she needs it. They live in a very rural area so public transportation isn't an option. I have two brothers who might help me buy her a vehicle but is this our obligation? We are not wealthy people, just working class with many bills of our own.

What would you do?

I'm not just looking for compliments here, really, and please don't feel like you have to say something nice.

I'm wondering if I seem to be improving as a writer at all, or getting nowhere. I have strong ideals at to doing as well as I can, and have been told I'm a perfectionist, and therefore rarely feel truly satisfied with my work.

i can certainly think of a few creations that occur without the assistance of a creator. take mud for example. water from a storm falls onto dirt on the ground. and voila!!! we've got the creation of mud. simple, no creator. now you're probably saying, "but mud isn't a complex creation." well, then my question to you is, how would you define something as being complex? is it something with a complex design? well, then what about snowflakes?
