No, the baby does not always come early for moms with Gestational Diabetes. I had GD with my last pregnancy. At 32 weeks, I began having weekly non-stress tests and ultrasounds along with an appointment with the diabetes specialist. I was 38 years old and just couldn't gain any weight so they moved me to the high risk clinic. My baby was born at 41 weeks and weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces. Throughout the 9 weeks of ultrasounds, my baby was in the head down position at each appointment. Having a large birth-weight baby is one risk of having Gestational Diabetes and measuring later can be a sign of a large baby. I know the woman who had her appointment after me every week was huge and I was 3 weeks ahead of her in gestation. She just couldn't control her blood sugar with diet alone and had to have insulin. They induced her labor 2 weeks before my baby was born so she would have been at 36 weeks. He weighed over 8 pounds even then.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

If the baby is large for its gestational age, they might take the baby earlier than 40 weeks.. if they feel you can't deliver naturally. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will go into labor naturally earlier.

The baby will probably be bigger, but won't necessarily come earlier.
