I will be taking the physical wednesday October 17th. What do you think the physician will say when he finds the varicocele on my left testicle, will I not be able to join the army because of it?

You do not have anything to worry about. You will need to let your recruiter know so he will not be surprized.

US Army 15 years
OIF 2003
US Army Recruiter 2.5 years current Texas

PS Feel free to email me any types of questions.

Don't join the Army.

If you want to join the military choose the Air Force or Navy.
You will learn more to help you in your civilian life if you join either of these.

If you are intelligent, then you should talk to a Navy recruiter about the Nuclear Propulsion Program. This is the best career choice in the military right now. Right now is the time to join this program. Several civilian nuclear power plants are in the planning stages right now and it is predicted that there will be a severe shortage of nuclear trained personnel. The pay is good.

I was a Navy Nuke and I value the training I received. Having the Navy Nuclear Power training on my resume has landed me every job I have ever had. I work in a power plant (not nuclear) and make 90K/year.

Don't get your a** blown away in the Army or Marines.
