I hear both Christians and Atheists say that the "other side" is inflicting their beliefs on them. How personally does this effect you? Christians are free to worship, Atheists are free not too. Has anyone ever infringed on your rights? (give an example).
Both sides say that the other is constantly pushing their beliefs..I think that is true when you read the posts in this forum.
Why does the "other" fellows belief bother us so much? Why do we feel the need to make others conform?
I would really like to hear from both sides with no dogmatic or insulting responses ..Like "they will go to hell" or "all wars are started by religion" or "they are ignorant"....if possible....Thank you so much.

My bf of 8 years accussed me of having sex with three men this weekend . We have been through so much but in the last week i told him that he had one more tim to mess with me and i would go emotionless and that notthing would matter anymore. Well he did it , I told him if he said it againr that i would do it and take pictures so he had proof instead og just accusing me all the time . Well i told him to leave yesterday but he just stayed . Now he wants to be all nice to me and i dont even want him to touch me. Am I wrong I dont feel anything at all for him anymore. My heart hurts because I know its ove im just not mad or sad or even anry anymore. Should i just leave and give him the house ? I have a 4 month old baby boy

Is there any reason I cannot use my CANON ink refill pack on an HP Printer? I have about $5 dollars worth of refill ink that I inject inot my old Canon printer ink cartiges. My Canon printer died. I have a new HP.
Already out of ink on th HP and am thinking of injecting the Canon ink?
Any major reason why I cannot do this?

R&S, I know this isn't exactly a religious question but I wanted to ask my friends in this section. There is someone in my life who I want to believe can change and improve himself. However I have been told by many people (most of them older, wiser, and more credible than I) that people generally don't change, at least not permanently.

I'd like to hear some encouraging words about people who really were able to make a positive change in their life.

I'm not looking for "they found God" stories, by the way. :oP That to me is not necessarily an improvment.

I sold a car to my Dad last year and he signed a "bill of sale" in which he agreed to make payments to me on a monthly basis over a two year period.

After paying on it for a few months he gave the car and loan to his girlfriends (40 year old) daughter, who needed transportation. He told me that if she got behind on the payments to let him know and he would take care of things.

Well, in August my Dad died unexpectedly. I have not received any payments from the gf's daughter since. I do not know if the car is still titled in my Dad's name or her name. My dad did not own much and his estate was not probated - girlfriend just cleared out his apartment and cleaned out his bank account to pay for funeral home expenses.

Is there any way that I can prove the car rightfully belongs to me, since $6000 is still owed on it? GF's daughter does not answer my emails and we do not live near one another.

So one of the commandments is to honor thy father and mother. Does this mean the people who gave you life here on earth, or those who raised you? I ask because I love my mom (really just because the Bible tells me to, she has never been a mother to me), but I don't respect her or have feelings about her either way, but my step-mom raised me and I love her like she gave birth to me. So I am always caught in: what does God consider a mother? The one who gives birth (because let's face it, giving birth doesn't make you a mother), or the one who nurtures, raises, and teaches His word?

I discovered two earthworms (there may be more) in a juniper bonsai that I recently purchased. I know earthworms are good for plants in gardens, but are they good or bad for Juniper bonsai?

I know Junipers can easily suffer from "root rot", do earthworms help this or make it worse?

(The soil for my juniper drains very well and is composed of soil, bark pieces, brick pieces, and sand; and I water it about twice a week because I let it get a little dry between waterings, but not completely dried out. The plant is outside and receives indirect sunlight on a covered patio.)
