Who Hates Americans?
By Ishmael Vera
The campaign mounted by campus leftists against Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, which is scheduled to take place on more than 100 campuses during the week of October 22-26 has taken a new turn with the announcement of a counter-protest at the Washington Monument. The protest, which will be called “American Fascism Awareness Day” is being organized by Adam Kokesh of Iraq Veterans Against the War, the Revolutionary Communist Party, Students for Justice In Palestine, and the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee among others and will feature speakers such as congressman Dennis Kucinich and presidential candidate Ron Paul, anti-war activists Cindy Sheehan and Harry Karry and actor Sean Penn.

According to a spokesperson for the Revolutionary Communist Party, one of the sponsors of the event, “This is an answer to the Jew Horowitz and the neo-conservative Zionists who dragged us into an imperialist war in Iraq and are spreading hatred against Muslims to support their war plans against the Republic of Iran.”

Tracey S - Well... wow. From one who does the exact same as I except, in opposition to America that is mighty hypocritical. Do you actually have a job? Or a life? Or do you just look for this made-up drivel that props up your prejudice and your irrational hatred all day long?
These are facts lady. The truth hurts doesn’t it?

Bob Avakian, the chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party, is a pathetic remnant of the SDS in the Sixties.
That the progressives, liberals and some Democrats find themselves aligining with his rants is truly disturbing.
Even Stalin would have him executed.

With Ron Paul and Dennis Kuncinich on the same stage should tell people a lot.
Please lets remind those on the left after 9/11 the number of hate crimes against Arabs didn't jump.
Now can you tell me that Muslims were not dancing on the street during 9/11?
CNN still has the tapes.
People who use the term Fascist in reference to America need to pull out a history book and read about the real fascist of history.
Giving people the right to vote is not fascist.
Returning fire when upon is not fasist.
Rebuilding a country and letting them write their own consitution is not fascist.
I know who hates America and that is the same people on that stage.
Yep maybe Sean feels cheated because he was old enough to be part of the Anti-war during Vietnam.
Well ladies and gentlemen this isn't Vietnam.
We can either take the fight to them or sit back and wait for the next 9/11.
I think 1 was too many.

I'm sorry, but given the tone of your statement - you are no better than these people or groups you attack. You give them a case for their American Fascism Awareness Day. The more hateful posts I see like this, the more I am awake to the fact that those on the extreme left and in your case, the extreme right, have no idea of what's best for our country. Instead you try to divide us with your hate, rhetoric and propaganda.
But I guess the 1st Amendment applies to you as well as them and you are free to spout whatever you want. That's the wonderful thing about America. We all have the freedom to express ourselves, whether it be protesting at the Washington Monument or posting hateful questions on Yahoo Answers.

Apparently, YOU seem to espouse quite a bit of hate yourself against at least half of the country with your rabidly biased and partisan tripe.
***From one who does the exact same as I except, in opposition to America that is mighty hypocritical.***
It's opposition to American imperalism, not America as a whole. It's called "American Fascism Awareness Day," not "Anti-America Day." Because the truth actually hurts, you resort to twisting everything out of its originally context to make it easier to dish out your red herrings.

Can I ask something of you? Why do you consider fellow countrymen enemies? We are all Americans here in America. I may not agree with our current Administration and I may detest the previous one for its foreign policy, but that doesn't mean I hate Americans.
Let me ask you - if it were up to you, would you have every Liberal rounded up and put into concentration camps?
If yes, then how are you better than Hitler? (Who, by the way, was a right-wing extremist)
If no, then get over your hatred. We are all Americans. Get used to it. Some people just have a different opinion than you do. And you know what? Their freedom to have a different opinion and voice it is protected in our Constitution in the first clause of the First Amendment.
No American hates America. No one actually wants terrorism on our shores. Who in their right mind would want that?
And let me ask you - why do they (the "terrorists") hate us? It's not because we're free and they're not, that's for sure. If that were the case, why aren't they attacking Paraguay?
Post-WWI: US/UK forces divided ancient Ottoman Empire into countries; installed dictators
Post-WWII: US leads forces to overthrow North Korean leaders (fails)
1953 - US CIA led a coup de tat that overthrew the elected President of Iran and installed the brutal Shah
1960's-1970's - US invades Vietnam to overthrow North Vietnamese government (fails)
1973 - US Military led a coup de tat to overthrow elected Chilean leader; installed dictator
1980 - US gives arms to terrorist Contras to overthrow government in Central America
1992 - UN forces led by US forces invade Iraq to overthrow Saddam (failed)
1992-2003 - US conducts bombing raids over Iraqi Kurdistan that kill hundreds of thousands of men, woman and children when coupled with US sanctions on Iraq
1999 - US bombs Kosovo and kills tens of thousands of civilians in the process (the biggest bombing raid in US history)
2001 - US-led invasion of Afghanistan to overthrow "terrorist" government
2003-Present - US-led invasion if Iraq to overthrow Saddam Hussein
2006 - US gives weapons to Israel to attack and overthrow Hammas government (fails)
I do not hate America; I hate her foreign policy and her foreign policy is why people outside America hate us. (and remember that this is a severely truncated list - these are just the major points of contention that people outside the US have with us)
And by the way, Islamists aren't fascists. There are 14 points that must be present in order to call it fascism. What they are is an Islamic Republic. (remember that the so-called "dictator" of Iran is actually an elected official subject to re-election and has even less power than the Queen of England)
By the way, I'm not Liberal, but I'm not a Conservative, either.
***good job dodging every point I made and answering only the rhetorical question that wasn't meant to be answered. Now let's try again to answer the slightly tougher questions. Would you be willing to put these "liberals" you hate so much into concentration camps?
