What are your thoughts on this?

I think this would be a short-lived series and I doubt it'd match Star Trek where longevity is concerned.

I did hear his latest Clone Wars cartoons are having problems finding a TV station to air them, the reason stated was who to aim them at.

I think its time GL should leave Star Wars alone. They are great entertaining films....

....he needs to let go & move onto something new....such as that book he co-wrote with someone (can't think of the name), maybe he should turn that into a movie if he's looking for things to do.

If the dialogue would be the same as the movie it might not work. When it comes to series its more of pleasing the demographics like ages 18-40+. In the movies they can make it one time and hope for the best. In the tv series, the important thing is the rating for it to survive every episode later a season. This show would do well in the sci fi channel although there are other shows in the sci fi channel that is more interesting. I think twice still...

Ya i heard about that too. i watched the clone wars tv show, and as shorts between shows, they were actually pretty good (not that i dont expect that from george). But im not sure im ready for a star wars tv series. dont get me wrong, star wars is awsome, in fact my favourite movies are the starwars series, but i think if lucas carries out these plans, he may come off as though its a money grab (kinda like how he didnt do 7,8, and 9). I would definitely watch it if it aired, but untill then i question the reasons behind it.

There he goes again, liking his fat fingers and sticking them in to the pot to ruin the sauce for everyone.

Personally I think he ruined the entire Star Wars universe when he made Ep 1, 2 & 3.

He was a "starving" producer/director when he made 4, 5 & 6 and I think that's why they came out so well, he actually "worked" to make the movies so he could get his name out there on Hollywood.

Now that he's got lots of money and fans, he knows that he can make ANYTHING StarWars and he'll make a killing.

He wants to make sure that his great, great, great grand-kids will be taken care of... so why not make a TV series to further ruin the StarWars universe.

I have mixed emotions about it. ill watch it because it is star wars, but Im not sure about the story line itself. Reminds me of a TV show a few years ago, young indiana jones, didnt really take off....

well
just as i suspected, half the people say crap about the series. oh, shut up. it might actually be good! i mean, the plot seems pretty cool, and the star wars clone wars was awesome, so i'm kinda looking forward to this. i mean, it's got to be a little better than star trek. i used to watch that in 1st grade, but not anymore.

I think if Lucas hands it off and he has no part in the direction it will totally rock out the prequels, which sucked. The reason Empire kicked so much **** is because Lucas didn't direct it.

in case you do no longer innovations gazing older classics in black and white, i prefer to propose some episodes from a chain referred to as "The Outer Limits" besides as those episodes from the unique "Twilight Zone" sequence: "0.33 From The sunlight" (Edward Andrews performs the main menacing villain in classic television history right here) "The shield" "To Serve guy" For video clips, attempt "Alien" "extraterrestrial beings" "Forbidden Planet" "The Day The Earth Stood nevertheless" (no longer the remake...stick w/the Michael Rennie version) "Them" "This Island Earth" "Invasion Of The physique Snatchers" (lower back, the unique Fifties is a classic of modern paranoia!) "Tarantula" (seem for Clint Eastwood flying the airplane that drops the bombs on the top) "Blade Runner" The Blob" (Steve McQueen version) and for some great unintended laughs, do no longer overlook those 2 Ed timber classics: "Bride Of The Monster" and the best-ever worst action picture ever made: "Plan 9 From Outer area" I comprehend that my tastes won't correlate with cutting-edge traits, yet i in my opinion do think of that youthful anyone is denying themselves some exciting video clips whilst they overlook approximately a number of the older classics. the two way, i desire you savour your self.
