Human birth is scarcest resource because one gets human birth after evolving out of 8.4 million species in the Universe and it is a priceless commodity because only the human birth can lead us to liberation. Unfortunately we waste this priceless commodity ignorantly by indulging in trivial earthly pleasures and forget the true value of our human birth and the purpose for which it has been endowed to us.

In my view, no commodity can be priceless by being scarce and highly useful..... currently one believes that even human beings can be bought for a price...... on the contrary some of the priceless things are abundant such as air and water.

The most priceless thing is good will towards others. It is not really a commodity, because it cannot easily be bought and sold. Nor is it a scarce resource; it tends to disprove this aspect of classical economics because the amount of it around does not really affect its value. We just ought to concentrate on maximum production, and maximum distribution!

A commodity, it could be only diamond.
Hardest, most brilliant, very useful, yet scarce (relatively to its importance, use, pricelessness!).
Philosophically, the name of diamond is used for signifying the importance and similar pricelessness of a posture , a yogic posture, total mastery of which is as scarce as diamond, though seemingly simple ! Yes, the Vajra-Aasana !

I would have to answer liquid water.
Love, Life, Birth, Faith can not be sold or traded, and therefore cannot be considered a commodity.
