I met this boy over the summer, he is extremely nice and i really enjoy his company. However, he is younger than me, I'm afraid to have any kind of relationship with him because i think it might not work out. I know he likes me because he is always telling me how pretty I look and stuff like that. The age is the only thing that is bothering me. Help?!

If he is a kid and your an adult, thats WRONG! If your both kids and only a few years apart, HANG OUT WITH HIM! Theres nothing wrong with being friends with younger kids. Maybe you both like doing the same things. Are you wanting a friend or bf? It is usually good to start as friends while your young, no one has to worry about what works out or not, it's easier and much more comfortable, when you add the word relationship, it tags you for emotions, just hang out with him and enjoy the fun person that he is.

I dated 2 guys that were both a year or 2 younger than me. I am now dating a guy almost 10 years older. I don't think age matters. Do what makes you happy.

depends on how young. But being a young male, and a former teenager, I really wasn't looking for a serious relationship. For all intensive purposes I wanted to get laid, learn some things about the opposit sex, and just enjoy having a "missus" for a while. After the first 4 months, I was bored with my gf (though i loved her as a mate) and wanted to split up.
So what I'm saying is, listen to what he wants and see if you can accept what the future may become.

It's not really the age difference that matters. It's the bracket you are both in. If you are in the same age bracket than don't worry about whose older. I'm older than my husband but it doesn't matter at all! Someone has to be older but you don't have to follow society's rules and always make sure the man is older than you are. Just make sure that you are on the same page mentally and emotionally and if you are it will work out.

it depends on how much of a age difference we are talking about. I mean if you are 28 years or younger and the age difference is 3 years or less, then who cares. and if you are older than 28 yet younger than 45 and the age difference is 7 years or less, then who cares. and if you are older than 45 and the difference is no more than 10 years then who cares.
Just make sure it fits in the laws you know...lol
go for it! If I were the kid and the girl was older than me, shoot I'd go for it!

He likes you. You like him. What's not to like?
If you don't date him because of the age, it already didn't work out BECAUSE OF YOU. But if you do date him, it did work out. The relationship may fail later, but that's OK. You sound young, so there's time to find someone else if this doesn't work. Not many people find the person that they will spend the rest of their life with when they're still that young.
I say, go for it.

I am 15 years younger than my wife. Age for adults is not an issue. In school, it is not a great idea to date anyone more than two years younger or older than you are.

If he is a minor, and you are an adult, then don't do it. If you are close to being an adult, and he is a minor too, you could be tried as an adult. But, if you are both over 18, who cares. Oh and if you are both well under 18, then yeah, no problems there either

how old are you? if your over 18 and hes under there is going to be a problem. if your 14 and hes 12 nothing wrong with that. anyways age is just a number goodluck!

First thing, whats the age gap, Secondly, if your actually ok with wanting to date him other then worried about this Age problem...then there really isn't any problem...but i must warn you, if he keeps tellng you your pretty, that sounds alot like him trying to get into your panties, the Nice guy way.
