I really love this dress but want it strapless. Do you think it can be made and how?

The only way to make a dress strapless after the fact is to install enough ribbing in the interior of the bodice so that it will stand up alone. Adding ribbing to the side seams alone is not enough even if the bodice is already highly structured.
If you are determined to do this, it would hurt to invest in some really good quality double stick tape. (Baby oil will help get the tape off later, but expect red marks.)

I like the dress the way it is. It's beautiful! I do think you could make it strapless if the right person does it for you.

You probably could, but you would need the proper seamstress who really knew what she was doing. If someone did it wrong it would be a disaster, but if you had someone who did it right it would be absolutely beautiful.
