I think this may be ovbviously true with major technology but what about the smaller improvements. I was watching the Visa commercial where a person uses cash and everything stops and waits. My thought is that the continued use of visa cards will result in a loss in the ability of people to make change (math skills). The more people use technology such as computers, calculators, and check cards the more skills are lost such as math and spelling. The level of education would then be important in learning these skills so the more affluent would have a better chance of obtaining and retaining these skills. So does technology make it easier or harder for the less affluent to survive in society?

abot a year ago an accident happened on my laptop my bro spilt pop on it so we decided jst to use a usb one for now but now my laptop one is acting funny and keeps doing random things like it keeps bringing up ------ and ppppp all the time and when i turn it on it beeps the laptop keyboard is really annoying me i cant do anything on it cause it jst randomly types please help!!!

I recently got back together with my ex. Yesterday I found out I was pregnant, and told him. He blew me off to go to a drinking party with some friends. Then called asked me if I was lying asked what the pregnancy tests were to check their accuracy! I took 3 tests! He was acting extremely immature thats why it didn't work the fist time. Do you think he will mature?

My 15 year old daughter speaks very rudely to me and sometimes to her grandparents. Her tone is just plain rude and obnoxious. She does not like me to help her with anything and says that I treat her like a child.

She was living with her father from age 10 to 15 and is now living with me.

How do I check her on her tone of voice and make her speak more respectfully to me and other elders?

All my friends have bf's and i don't, which makes me quite jelous at times. I think it could be because i am slightly overweight, but thats no excuse! I am always speaking to the lads, and the one's i fancy and i get on really well with them, but none of them seem to want to be my bf though. I know most religious ppl believe embryonic stem cell research is wrong. But what about other means of stem cell research? Stem cells are collected from adults and from the umbilical cord and placenta of a baby donated after birth. Neither of those methods hurt the donor and can go a long way in med research. I may have just been cured from my cancer from a stem cell transplant.

Why do ppl not want this research that can potentially save a lot of lives and cure disease? Do you believe it is wrong for a woman to go through IVF and waste embryos? Why not use those embryos that are going to be destroyed anyways for research? Is it wrong for humans to donate their bodies to science upon death?

I have going to a dental college for evaluation for crowding teeth. Everytime I would visit the dentist, they would take my blood pressure and everytime it would read high. So they suggest I see a doctor, wherein it was confirmed that my blood pressure was high. I have been put in medication to bring it down, and it does go down incrementally. But I am anxious for the corrective dental (not only cosmetic, but I have a condition where the jaw bones have been slowly eroding since I was young) surgery. How does hypertension affect my health in prepartion for surgery?

What is your understanding of what happens when the body dies? I want to understand the different points of view that you may hold? Why do you see it in this way? How did you come to this understanding? If you do believe in something beyond this, then what is this world exactly in your understanding? Do parts of you survive while other parts die with the body? I think he called them. Do U think it's possible the former dentist was thinking w/ his pocketbook or do you think they just have different opinions. I'm going to ask him but I wanted some objectivity on here first :) Thanks. I'm aware that if U can't see my teeth you can't specifically answer the question...This question is based more on what the probability of the dentist's possible greed playing a part in this may be in your experiences. Thanks!.. His office is the Taj Mahal by the way although I know it's not fair to judge him by that!

I prefer "The New Jerusalem Bible" but I'm sure there are newer, better translations. But then nobody has the original manuscripts, so... how do they make new translations? What are their sources?
