You're definitely right. It looked to me like a lot of those people were barely 4 feet tall.

I have noticed too. I think if NASCAR keeps messing there series up there will be no sell outs anywhere. I couldn't believe the Talladega race because they have a real good price on those tickets. But that being said I am glad I didn't go to there last race there because I would have been highly disappointed with it..
Personally I have stopped going and stopped watching like I have because of the miss management that is going on.. I really never thought one could mess racing up but NASCAR has done it. I watched and napped the Talladega race and I will watch Martinsville and I am done for the year. I could care less about the chase since it's beginning and the tracks that they are going to suck so see ya next year after next weeks race.

Well with Talladega, that race really was sold out and every seat was full at the beginning of the race. A good friend of mine was there, he said when Dale Jr's engine blew up, all the red shirts with #8 left the grandstands.
They pay 50 bucks for seats and probably another two or three hundred dollars over the race weekend just to get there and then leave before the race is over when they know Dale Jr won't win. Thats pretty stupid if you ask me.

I've noticed seats with no butts in them at Cup races for the last couple years. Also seems that TV cameras cut away to a different angle when empty seats can be seen in the backround. No doubt orders from the almight Nascar leadership. I live near Texas Motorspeedway, and when the "Big Boys" are in town you'll find me at the local dirt track taking in the modifieds, sprints and stock classes. These guys race for the love of the sport.....not $$$$$$$.

Yea I noticed that too, but they said they sold out and was at capacity 170,000. I thought anyways. If anything I thought it would be sold out especially at Charlotte. But on the flip side of things you have so many other sporting events going on now. I wonder what the numbers as far as TV go but for some reason this year has seemed to have less people in the stands as far as watching the races and see empty seats. Also with COT and dominance of HMS maybe people were a little more reluctant.

Attendance is down and so are tv ratings. Nascar can try and spin it all they want, the empty seats every weekend don't lie. Many race fans just don't have the extra cash for tickets. It gets a little expensive for a day at the track.

between those 2 tracks, i might actually pick Martinsville. Indianapolis could be sturdy through fact of its history. yet you have a a lot greater advantageous possibility of seeing greater of the race at Martinsville. so a tactics as tickets, in case you will purchase them from the Speedway, you will could desire to examine their internet site for the timing of cost tag revenues. the faster you purchase them, of course the faster you may desire to purchase them. in case you're procuring from a race excursion, their timelines could be basically slightly diverse.

Must just be you. The only race this year that hasn't sold out was the 2nd Fontana race.
I have no idea what they were thinking, adding a 2nd event there, when they can barely sell out the 1st one...

Yep, I've seen that myself..The company that I work for its national headqts is in Georgia, I hear the employees back there say its getting way to expensive.. I just heard the guys on Victory Lane on speed say that there's still tickets available for Martinsville next week...Brian France you are getting to pricey for your average fan...Out here in calif, theres to much else to do besides going to a race.. I rarely ever have to buy a ticket, cause I get in free with my uncle and his wife they are nascar officals, and I've heard this myself just talking with fans at the tracks...Most of my friends out here say, heck with a big screen TV who needs to go to the race..
