I don't understand..My ex husband (before we got married) encouraged me to have a career etc..but when we said "I do" He changed and wanted me to be at home....

Why does it seem that men want a career woman type to be a housewife after marriage?? Is it a challenge to change her or something..or an ego boost????

I'm a freshman in college and i'm a very well behaved student and such but in my anthropology class we had a test and I didn't go because I felt I wasn't ready, instead I got this bright idea to tell my teacher that I had a doctor's appointment. Well he wants a doctor's note and I don't have one. Should I try to make one or should I tell him the truth?

A while back at work I was looking and checking out other girls and then came home and told my girl about it and how I felt about it...and then right after my last relationship before I met her I told her that when I first met her I was just using her to get over my ex too...is my being too honest with her and almost telling her everything a bad thing?

I'm international student under F-1 visa, stuying in college in California. I wonder why i have to pay taxes when i buy stuffs. since i dont have any benefit from the gorverment, why do i have to pay tax? is that anyway i can have my tax return? i dont understand how is this work. some of my friend said that if i show them my passport, i will not have to pay tax when i buy something, is that right ?

im a guy i have kinda long hair. like 3almosst 3 inches long . but its kinda bushy . how can i get it straighter/smother kidna like asthon kkucters in that 70 show. i tought about using a hair straighter .but its for female's ... and not sure what products to use. my dad had curly hair and my mom has soft so im kidna middle. more like 25 % curly and 75% straight .
