I think he should. He has been a great hitting coach for the Braves and I think it is time for him to step up into a managerial role.

Pendelton was always a leader in the Braves clubhouse and I believe he has managerial qualities. If not the Royals I believe he will get a shot with someone at some point in time.

You make a great point, although he and Tony Pena seem to have a lot in common as far as their temperment and I thought Pena would be a perfect fit for the Royals. Unfortunately Royals owners prefer not to put a quality team on the field and go for contracting the good players that have come up the past decade or so. If Pena had had something to work with he might have made a great manager for a young team. It is obvious that the Royals organization is not dedicated to winning. They have put quite a few future stars on the field the past several years and let them get away for nothing. Quite a shame.
Cardinals 3rd base coach Jose Oquendo would also be a perfect fit for that team. He has unlimited knowledge of the game, is supercharged, a risk taker and aggressive. He knows how to relate to young players and can invoke boundless spirit.
Appendix: Word has it that when the new owners bought the team, they had to promise the city of K.C. that the Royals would not move unless they had x-number of consecutive losing seasons. There has been talk that ownership fancies moving the Royals to Little Rock or somewhere else.

Partly in reference to Ski Dawg, Terry's too smart to play for that owner.
He's family, bro! Does he deserve a managerial position? Of course. Will he get one? Hopefully, after Bobby Cox isn't around (he'll probably have a heart attack arguing with McClellan or something). Then T.P. can manage the Braves for 20 years or so.

Well, Pendleton did spend part of his playing days as a Royal. He can try to turn the Royals around - however, they are the worst run team in the majors and will remain so until they get a new owner.

NO , he should stay with the Braves, I am sure he will succeed Bobby Cox. The Braves organization is too good to let him go, I know he will make a great manager someday.

He should get a managerial job soon, but would hate to have him leave Braves organization. If he would stay another year in Atlanta, he might get manager job.

I'm mixed about that... I like Pendleton, but I'm not sure if he would make a great manager. However, this is the Royals. He has paid his dues in Atlanta, so I guess he should get a shot.

there have been MANY activities (alongside with in the time of final year's submit-season) that i've got discovered myself yelling on the television, "Take that pitcher out! he's finished!" and that i'm getting annoyed as a results of fact i will't think of why Francona leaves a tumbler in for an further batter who i'm particular is going to burn him. yet...in spite of the shown fact that... the guy has extra international sequence jewelry than i will ever have, so i don't probably have everywhere to criticize.
